Refurb needed
We booked a superior room, but was convinced we were given a standard room by accident. Even queried it and they confirmed the superior rooms get a biscuit and a bottle of water……..I’d suggest just bringing your own and booking a standard as the room was the same size as was the bathroom. For somewhere convenient to put your head down it’s fine, but aside from the bloody/bar it is in need of a big refurbishment. Rooms are very dated and drab and need a good overhaul.

The hotel was in the centre of Plymouth, with easy access to the city centre. The room was great, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities you could need. The only thing I would suggest is that the bathroom needs updating. It isn’t bad, it just doesn’t match up to the rest of the room. I would definitely stay here again.

There wasn’t enough staff on the reception to check in. ( only one & a long queue. In the evening there was only one young lady serving in the bar & she was very busy & could have done with more help. Otherwise the room was clean & quiet, but could do with more shelves in the bathroom.
