Very good

Customer service was good, staff seemed friendly. We stayed in the main building last time but the price has sky rocketed so we stayed in the Inn building next to the gift shop. It was very old, hot tub and pool were stained and the floors were very dirty. (Socks were black from their rugs). We love the area but we probably won’t stay here again
It's a really beautiful setting and we had stayed there some years before. Check in was chaotic, only because we were not told that there was a centralised check-in at Church Landing. Once inside the room, things were fine including the wonderful view of the lake (Rm430)
Food at the Lakeside was average. Shrimp were old. Steak was tough. There was a real end of season feel to the place. Our waiter....Matt...however did a really good job. In fact the staff.....when you could find any, were excellent.
My morning coffee from the in room coffee machine dripped straight through the cup onto my feet. Hole in the cup.
Nice rooms. and beautiful location right on the lake.Almost no staff at the hotel. They do check in at one site for 4 hotels. Nice pool and Hot tub but the pool was small. Would go back
W lived our stay here. The view over on the property was fantastic! Our room had a fireplace and Adirondack chairs right outside that all added to the great atmosphere. If you are looking for a relaxing peaceful retreat this is definitely the place to stay. We loved it!
Arrived at the hotel and then saw a sign that says registration is at a different location about 0.5 mile up on the road. The handicap parking lot is so far away from the entrance of the hotel so that we had to drop off my very elderly friend at the front door. The hallways are so filthy and for two days we could not have anyone at the front desk to help us. Very disappointed and will not return to this hotel.
We didn't like that you check in at one property. The building we were in almost never had a desk person to answer any questions about options in and around the area. Just seemed very impersonal. However our stay was very pleasant.
Very nice and clean. The property is older and you shouldn’t expect a lot of bells and whistles. As an older couple it was just our style and very comfortable beds!! The breakfast at the bakery was delicious! The view was awesome. We loved our time spent there!
The room was fine but the building we stayed in was dirty. The elevator was a bit scary and was past due since May 2024. Also we did not like the check in process. First we went to a building we thought we were staying in and were sent to a central building for checkin. Then given our keys to a 3rd building. What a hassle.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Charming but needs more updating
The fall foliage was beautiful in the area but the hotel is quite old but charming. The carpets are in dire need of replacement and the cleaning wasn't done properly in our room. We found used tissues on the side of the bed by the wall.
Beautiful location, wonderful staff. Rooms were wonderful - and front desk had a tea, coffee station with breakfast bars. Would recommend the hotel to offer some fresh fruit and croissants also included in room rate for guests who may not want a full breakfast from the restaurant. GREAT walking location to so many shops, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely return. Just lovely.
The room was clean and updated. Bed was amazing. Great view of the lake and mountains from the room. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is a bit confusing so it took some time to find the room. The “snacks” that are included in the resort fee were never stocked. And housekeeping knocked on our door both mornings before 9:00 wanting to come in.

Liked: Staff & service
Room looks like it had not been updated in decades and the autumn rates were extremely overpriced for what was provided
