A little disappointing around the edges
The staff serving at the bar didn't really seem bothered if we were there or not if I am honest - we gave in our complimentary drink voucher and it seemed more of a chore that we had a free drink. Drinks placed on the bar and nothing said. There was nowhere to park so I was a little relieved I hadn't paid for parking in anticipation of a space - that was really quite stressful as then had to find another option for parking. The walls of the rooms are way to thin - unfortunately we couldn't sleep due to others making noise - we were also opposite the lift so that added to the noise. The shower was fantastic and the vibe of the hotel and room definitely have a great feel. I wouldn't stay again based on the friendliness of staff and lack of parking. There are other, cheaper hotels close by which may be dated around the edges but they know what they are doing in terms of hospitality and customer service.

Good stay despite animal hair allergy
The hotel was very fresh and clean. However as I’m allergic to animal hair and it was a dog friendly hotel this at times set off my allergy despite the hotel constantly being cleaned. The only other negative was the smell of “drains” resonating from the toilet.

Love staying at the Moxy. We had dinner as well and the food I am sorry to say was really quite poor. That was the only bad part about our stay. Everything else was great.

Absolutely amazing staff especially Bertie, he went above and beyond to make us welcome. Breakfast was fantastic. Comfy beds and plenty of fresh towels. Nothing was any bother to the lovely staff. Definitely will be back

It might not be in the best of areas but its worth staying in and to get to the centre of town is walkable so long as you are able. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel great, service lacking….
Travelling with work, and having heard of the brand through a Scandinavian friend whom worked for Moxy, I thought I’d give it a try! First impressions good on arrival, quite new, decor modern. My check-in was easy, but thought customer service and interaction during the exchange was lacking somewhat. It felt as if I was being processed….. “Next…!” The room was lovely, the bed was comfy and the shower perfect. Unfortunately there is no desk space for a laptop, just a coffee station hanging on leather straps to the wall unit which I attempted to use as such. Wifi connection information not provided. The service at the breakfast buffet was akin to that on my arrival, although the food was OK.

Excellent place for a getaway
The hotel staff are welcoming from the time you check in-they go above and beyond. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. Great coffee and also the brunch is delicious and great value for money! My third visit this year and will definitely be back.

The car park was a little tricky. No signage so you’re unsure if it is Moxys car park. Also you’re encouraged to follow the QR code on the sign and pay there. Once you reach reception there’s a discount code which many customers had missed. Reception was great. Room amazing and well specced. Breakfast and dinner were brilliant as was service throughout.

Love the Moxy just a few things, one of my side lamps by the bed wasnt working, also the night lite under the bed wasnt working, and my colleague had her car broken into 2 weeks ago and the shattered glass is still in the car park. Very dangerous

Nice hotel but a couple of issues on this occasion
This is a great hotel with modern comfortable rooms but the room was quite cold on this occasion and the Air Con/Heating just blew out cold air not warm even though the temperature was ramped up. Staff were pleasant and helpful but the service in the restaurant was again quite poor. Had to wait almost an hour from ordering to receiving my meal (it was only chilli so nothing elaborate). This isn't the first time this has happened here and it wasn't particularly busy in the bar at the time.
