First off we got no sleep all three nights we were there. The last night went to call front desk to complain and found we had no phone. Had to find the phone number to call the hotel to complain. Not a very nice hotel. No pool, needs updated a lot and not very clean.

I would have given a better review except our room smelled musty and mildewy. Even with the air conditioner running, the room was very humid which made it hard to sleep at night. Our room was very clean, but the smell and humidity was off putting.

Perfect for my needs
This motel was perfect for my purposes. I simply needed a place to shower and sleep. My room was very clean. The shower was nice and hot. Microwave and fridge worked like a charm.

This hotel looks like they started a renovation, but was halted. Beds were decent, pillows bad. Bathroom tile grout was black. Stairways were dingy and unkempt. Breakfast was just ok, not many options. Check-in lady was helpful with dining suggestions (which weren't many. also note that this is a dry county....no bars).

At the time of stay the hotel was under construction. The construction was not an issue, the room was nice, the bathroom needed some tlc and the door crack you could see out. We got stuck in the elevator and the lady at the front desk said that happens and she said she will reset it. The breakfast was poor quality and nothing but 2 kinds of cereal and packaged products. The mini fridge was unplugged, we had to plug it in. It was okay for a stay at this time, maybe once construction is complete it might be better but they need to work on the breakfast.

Eclipse Accommodation
Big shoutout! While other hotels got greedy and vastly increased their rates for the eclipse, this hotel honored the rate agreed to when I made my reservation a year in advance. The staff was absolutely superb! They were as friendly as you can get. Loved our stay!

We stayed here the night prior to the 2024 eclipse. The staff was awesome! They went around that morning turning off all the out door lights so folks could get a great view of the eclipse. They let us hang-out in the lobby after check-out. They even brought out a really amazing food/party spread (fruit, cake, cookies, etc) all which they make AT HOME and brought in for guests to enjoy. They were amazing hosts! Would definitely stay again if ever in the area.
