NOT AMERICA’S BEST
The shower curtain had mold all over it turned the shower on black stuff came out of the shower head the water was brown. The room had a very odd smell to it. They only had a fitted sheet on the bed along with a huge thick blanket ( no top sheet) there was other human hair on the sheets as well

Worse place ever
The entire complex should be designated for destruction. It is not fit for human occupation. I could not stay at this place at all. The lobby was hot, stuffy, smelly and cluttered. After visiting the room I immediately came back and asked for my refund. The gentleman said that he did not charge me, but Hotel.com did charge me. I want to be refunded for my expenses as I did not use the facility.

I’m going to request a refund according to the website photos the room had two non smoking beds and normal comforters but these blankets were disgusting and stained I felt like I could see bed bugs crawling. I have my luggage there but I’m going back to get and I’ve already found another location. I will be in touch

The AC was left off in the room, so it was extremely hot when I entered (it was on the second floor of the building, and in the mid-90's outside that day). The AC was not very strong and took many hours to cool down enough to be able to sleep (and only because the bed was directly next to the AC unit). The tub was also partially clogged, so filled up with debris & a strange foam from the drain while showering. But it was the most reasonable hotel in the area by far, so you get what you pay for, and I was not expecting too much. The sheets were clean, and it had a mini-fridge & microwave, which were a plus. The biggest issue was not leaving any AC on during the heat of summer, which made the room very uncomfortable, and humid for most of the evening.

The bed was good. The breakfast was nice. The motel front desk guy was pleasant. BUT.... Every screen in the motel had been broken in to. The steps to the second floor were cracked up and missing big chunks of concrete. Each room had a fuzzy throw for a comforter, wrinkled sheets and pillows. Pool was 9 feet deep but the gate was locked. On the site it said pet friendly but when we got there the sign said No pets.

Not fancy but no complaints.
Nothing fancy but it was a reasonably priced alternative when there was no hotel anywhere on Chincoteague. AC worked fine, good hot water for the shower though maybe it was a little weak, and the pool was nice. I like that the room had a window that could open as it was not a super hot night and sometimes I get sick of air conditioning and just want some regular fresh air. I arrived a little bit before checking time and was allowed to check in with that any hassle which was nice. No complaints really.

Terrible service upon arrival. Not even greeted and terrible attitude terrible customer service. Rooms where dirty and smelled like mold and the water from shower and sink smelled like lead or metal. Terrible terrible! Rooms do not look like nothing on what they look like on online.

Room not bad for how it looks
This place looks really rough on the outside; I couldn’t tell if it was actually still open for business. Room was functional, but nothing fancy. Beds were adorned with bright pink blankets, no comforters. This certainly isn’t worth what we paid for it, don’t care that it might be “close” to Ocean City.

Very dated and needs work
The hotel is average to below average. The building needed maintenance and the grass needed to be cut. Overall it seemed very dated and not well taken care of. Not an amazing stay, but it was a bed and shower.
