Great place to stay for a short visit to Split
This Pansion (not a hotel) is conveniently situated a bus ride outside of Split and makes it very good value and an affordable option for exploring the area. The rooms are modern and clean (we did stay in the main building above the restaurant) and if you have a room at the front (we stayed in room 8) a nice sea view. It really is right on the waterfront with a small shingle beach directly in front of the restaurant with good sun beds available for guests. There's also free parking. The restaurant has a good choice but is mainly sea food, so a bit limited if you eat there more than once and don't like fish! There are little or no other restaurants that were open within easy waling distance. There's no reception desk so you book in with the waiters in the restaurant. It seems a bit odd but then again don't forget this is not at hotel. We had a few issues with a noisy fridge and smelly air conditioning in our room but didn't feel we could speak to anyone about it. So we unplugged the fridge at night and fortunately managed without the air con. The waiters are lovely and very helpful. The breakfast offer was ok but often run out of things, but if you asked they would bring out more and cook fresh eggs if requested. It is a lovely place to stay and convenient for getting into Split (bus No:60 runs every 20 minutes and you can get off right by the old city and costs 3.5Euros each way) We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights and would recommend as a place to stay for a short visit.

The Amigos is an outstanding property. We had a great room over looking the sea; and they have air conditioning. We had breakfast there each morning 👍. We ate dinner there twice; and each time was terrific. Fish selections were top class. All was great.

Lovely little local hotel, where we enjoyed a two night stay close to Split. We had a triple room which had a balcony view of the sea. Room was clean and beds really comfy. One staff member went above and beyond to get an iron and ironing board for us to use as we had been backpacking up to this point in our holiday. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, and we had an evening meal at the restaurant which delicious. Even managed some relaxation time on the sun loungers! I would definitely return to this hotel and location.

I cannot say how much I loved this little charming, beautiful hotel located on a gorgeous beach. Their motto is arrive as a guest leave as a friend or amigo. I felt so welcome from the moment. Joseph met us at the entrance. The food was great with breakfast included, and the price was so reasonable. I totally loved it and did not want to leave.

Seaside charm...but small room.
Lovely hosts. Too many steps for me - 74 yr old with arthritic hip. Room was small. Restaurant was delightful. Beds not the most comfortable. Small seaside balcony was a nice touch.

Amazing location on a beautiful beach.
Our stay here was more than incredible. The staff was beyond amazing and made the experience even better. Not far from anything. Just a taxi of uber away from main attractions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Croatia!

Nice hotel close to split
The room was really nice, much better than I expected. Modern and clean, though the bed was a little uncomfortable. We stayed in the apartments across from the main hotel but it was no problem. We only stayed one night but its a good spot close to split and about half an hour from the airport. It is also right on the beach. They also have a good restaurant. I wouldn't recommend to anyone wanting to explore split centre, unless you had a car, as it is a bit far and there is lots of traffic coming in and out of the town.

Lovely location on the beach.
Stayed here for one night following a late arrival into Split airport. It was perfect for our requirements being convenient to Split, easy to find, parking was available and the restaurant was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed eating our meal on the beach. There was some confusion over the room we had booked as we were provided with an apartment in the annex building across the road as opposed to the triple room we had booked above the restaurant and overlooking the sea. The apartment however was spotless and a great size. In the morning there was also some confusion about breakfast as this was included in the price however as we had stayed in the apartment we had to provide confirmation of this. All was sorted after a short time.

Hotel is split in half with some rooms on the water and the rest are across the highway in an apartment building. We were unfortunate to get a room across the road that was also facing the mountain. Not a very enjoyable stay at all.

Super friendly people, great 2 bedroom apartment, excellent breakfast. Located just across the road from the Hotel access wasn't difficult and being outside of Split itself it was quiet and peaceful. Beautiful apartment
Absolutely loved our stay here and was really sad that we only had one night here. We had a room at the front of the property with a balcony overlooking the sea which was beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel and to stay a little out of Split if possible as it is so peaceful and beautiful.

Lovely hotel, right on its own beach.
Great staff, great food and spacious room. Situated on the beach with its own beach and quay with diving platform, this hotel was the perfect three day stay. Straight of the air plane, we transferred to the hotel by pre-booked taxi to the hotel. Dropped our bags and straight into the sea. Hotel room was clean and spacious. I think all rooms had a sea view in the main hotel but could not be absolutely certain. The hotel had an annex on the other side of the coast road. The surrounding area is built up with holiday apartments and private holiday accommodation, there are two small supermarkets nearby. The sea view is lovely but do not expect to much from the immediate surroundings.There are a few bars and restaurants up and down the coast line. Good location to visit Split and Omis, good cheap local bus service. I would certainly go back again.
