2 bedroom self catering house in Baiter Park Poole (sleeps 4/5) has been previously rated with a 4 star rating from the English Tourist Board.

We are a “Covid-19 safe holiday home”. We have followed the government guidelines and created a risk assessment and revised cleaning schedule according to the guidelines to ensure our houses are disinfected before our guests arrive.

Our house is a few minutes walk from the water front where there are fantastic view across the harbour to Brownsea Island. It is just 10 minutes walk to Poole Quay and the Poole town centre.
The kitchen has - Cooker, Dishwasher, Washeing machine, Fridge, freezer, Microwave etc. The lounge/dining area has two leather sofas (2 and a 3 seater) , a dining table & 4 chairs. A 32" Full HD flat LCD Sony screen colour TV with HD digital freeview and DVD. FREE WiFi BROADBAND
The house has a small south facing conservatory leading from the lounge area with table & chairs with its own private reserved parking space.
The house is close to the beaches including Sandbanks, Studland Bay and Bournemouth beaches.
Activities include boating, sailing, cycling, harbour boat trips, tennis, bowling, skating, children's play areas, arts centre, swimming pool and of course, the award winning Sandbanks beaches. The spectacular Dorset Jurassic coast is also very accessible.

We had a special week in Poole, which included our wedding anniversary. Our accommodation was excellent, very good location which allowed us to walk most of the time to attractions in Poole.

Ideal location
Ideal location for Baiter and Poole quay. Little disappointed with the limited supply of mugs and glasses. Also on opening the saucepan drawer finding a dirty pan. We did enjoy our stay though.

Summer in Poole

Golden Wedding anniversary getaway
Very cosy house. We were very comfortable as a couple. Not sure if a family with teenage kids might find it too "cosy". Shame no real garden to sit in as weather was fantastic. Location absolutely brilliant. Just a couple of minutes to quayside and lovely walks right along to the harbour. We visited Poole Park, lovely walk around the lake.. All in all we had a fabulous few days. We were so lucky that the weather was on our side especially being the begining of April. Mr KIng was an absolute gem, allowed us to get into house early as we arrived way before the proper time and also he went out of his way to provide a hairdryer as although listed there wasnt one to be found... All in all would give top marks for this little holiday home..

Our week away in Poole in Dorset
The house was nice to stay in, quite adequate for a small family to stay in and in a good area to explore Poole. The garden was rather small but this do not bother us as we spent most of our time away from the property exploring the local area. The weather was very good that helped us explore all the local attractions like Brownsea Island, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle etc. We enjoyed our holiday.

House provided all we needed. Only criticism would be that for guests staying in winter months it might be nice to have the house warmed up a bit before they get there. (that would also ensure a check was made that the heating was working, however, I can't fault the owner for his prompt response to our plea for help when the long anticipated heating didn't come on!) The house is warm once the heating gets going but it was a bit of a chilly welcome! However, I wouldn't want this to take away from the fact that we had a lovely weekend and found the location very convenient and lots to do in the surrounding area.

Comfortable property in a great location for seeing Poole and surroundings.
We wanted a property well placed for enjoying the Poole Bay area with easy walking access to The Quay, Poole Park, Sandbanks and easy driving out further. And this house did exactly that. We were able to walk to breakfast on the Quay or the park (10 minutes); walk for sightseeing on Evening Hill and Sandbanks; take the ferry to Brownsea Island; walk around Holes Bay and Upton Country Park; and even a combined walk / ferry / walk / bus to Swanage and back. Driving out to the Isle of Purbeck, Lulworth Cove, Lyme Regis is easy from here (summer traffic nothwithstanding of course). The House comfortably accommodated 4 adults (parents and 2 daughters) for 2 weeks. It's in the heart of the estate so isn't 'a house with a view' - but it doesn't purport to be either. The conservatory is small and we didn't use it except for hanging damp jackets on the couple of wet days we had. Bedrooms are comfortable. The double bedroom can be a little warm in hot weather as it has the airing cupboard. It has a good TV although we hardly used it. Apart from intermittent connectivity on our first day WiFi was good for browsing and music listening over the 2 weeks we were there. Not sure about video streaming. For supplies there is a big Sainsbury's and an Aldi very close by (10 minute walk or 2 minute drive) and a Tesco Express on the Quay. All in all it did exactly what we expected.
