We loved this home! We wanted to hike in Olympic National Park for a few days and chose this home based on the location. The home is fresh and feels new. Everything was clean and modern. The kitchen was fully stocked- we cooked dinner each night and had everything we needed for amazing meals. There was a Weber grill, but we didn't use it.
The beds were so comfortable- fell right asleep (seriously, probably among the most comfortable beds we have ever been in)! The home has a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains, which we enjoyed. The upper balcony off the loft was a wonderful place to sit and have a cocktail and relax looking at the mountains. There is also a side deck off of the kitchen perfect for having dinner or relaxing. At night, we had great views of the stars with minimal light interference. Our host was responsive to all of our questions and wanted to make sure we were comfortable.
We would definitely choose this home again! A few logistics... we are coffee people (we left at 6am for hikes). They have a Keurig, so bring your own Kcups. BUT, they also have a French press, which gave us amazing coffee each morning, so if you travel with your own grounds, this is a win!
The home is in a gated community, so you get a key card to let you in. Get your groceries in Port Angeles- but there is a general store within walking distance if you need something quick. The home is in a lake-side community, and there was a paddle boat that we saw at the house, but we weren't sure if we were allowed to use it- and there were no life jackets, so aside from a designated swimming area that is roped off, this is probably not a "lake-house". No worries, though, because Olympic National Park has literally everything you need: hiking trails, beaches, rain forest!
Loved this home and would recommend it to everyone!
