The cottage is fantastic. So quiet! We were hoping to use the Kayak. There was a dented rowboat, however getting it in the pond seemed too difficult. The recommendations the host gave us were fantastic.

A nice mixture of relaxing and practical
This was a great place for me to relax and chill out, surrounded by nature. It was also easy to get to the northern parts of ONP. I could tell that Don put a lot of thought into what guests would appreciate. Everything worked well, and the bathroom is also ADA-compliant, if that's important to you. I'll be back next year!

Close to Nature!
You can't get any closer to nature than here! Quiet, peaceful place in the woods surrounded by wildlife. We saw a herd of Elk, a wild Turkey and a few deer. Close to Olympic Park and Crescent Lake. A short drive to Port Angeles and the Ferry. The place is exactly as described. Very clean. The owner is very welcoming.

Don's little apartment is very well thought out, with all the basic necessities, even some toiletries & cofee/tea. Beautiul pond and wooded surroundings. Comfortable firm bed and easy access to Port Angeles or Lake Crescent nearby. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect Place in Spectacular Location
Loved it! Spacious, clean, outstanding location for Hurricane Ridge, Madison Falls, Mt. Storm King trail, Lake Cresent and Sol Duc!! Don was a gracious, friendly and responsive host. Perfect in everyway. He came over to show us elk on the property in our "backyard." So cool. Couldn't have been better. 10 Stars for sure.

Cozy Cabin
We stayed here for just one night in between other stops in Olympic, and it was the perfect little spot to rest and recharge. The bed was comfy, shower more than adequate, and the grounds with pond were beautiful. Saw elk in the evening and heard the frogs others mentioned. Thank you for the hospitality!

From this cozy hideaway cabin you can explore in every Direction. The beach is just around the corner. The lakes Are a short drive. Hiking on the mountain or a walk along the many trails are within easy reach. The host & his best friend greeted us with a smile & a wagging tail. The friendly & helpful atmosphere was relaxed and very enjoyable. We will gladly stay again.

Gorgeous small, but perfect place for 2. On a lake with abundant waterfowl and I enjoyed my own elk herd with coffee. Wanted for nothing, bed was perfectly fine. Bathroom was spotless and spacious. Kitchen was complete with all amenities. Definately worth a visit. Don was the gracious host and his dog Blue kept an eye on things

A Tidy, Serene Stay
My boyfriend and I stayed at Don’s for a night and it was perfect! It was readily obvious that Don immaculately cleans the space between every visit. The cleanliness of the bathroom, well kept kitchen and fresh smelling linens made me feel right at home. I often have a hard time feeling comfortable in unfamiliar lodging but Don’s attention to detail in refreshing the space for every guest made for such a relaxing stay. The fully stocked, spotless shower and freshly made bed allowed us to recharge for our adventures the next day. And the York mints he left beside our keys was such a nice touch! Also, Don is a long time local and gave great recommendations. So whether you are looking for the inside scoop on “must see” sites or you’re just trying to find a nice restaurant - Don has the answers! Additionally, the property is beautiful - 50 acres of pristine wilderness and there is a lake right next to the accommodations. We really wish we had more time to get out and explore, maybe next time. Thanks again for a great stay, keep up the great work!
