Where the Mountains Meet The Sea
There is no other place in the world that matches the diversity and the majesty of the Olympic Peninsula and there is no place better to stay and enjoy it then the beautiful Wapiti Rose Home.
Located on a private 5 acre parcel of land and hand built by a former Olympic National Park backcountry carpenter and trail builder this home is both a work of art and a tribute to the forest of the Olympic Peninsula. The home shows the love, care and respect of the natural environment that he maintained in the Park during his years of service.
Now owned by Jeffery and Sophia they hope to carry on his traditions and allow you to enjoy their home while they continue working and traveling.
The Wapiti Rose will be your home while exploring Olympic National Park and the surrounding areas of the Olympic peninsula.
At the Wapiti Rose the Olympic National park is literally your backyard. The southside of the property backs up to the boarder of O.N.P. The West Elwha River trail goes along the backside of our property and connects to other trails in the Park.
We are located just a couple miles from Hwy 101 and Hwy 112. They connect you to everything from the rain forest and beaches of the West end of O.N.P to the farthest most Northwest point in the continental the USA at Cape Flattery . We are also very close to Port Angeles, a major entry point to Olympic National Park as well as the gateway to international travel to Canada and Vancouver Island.
