One night in Port Augusta

It was a hotel, good enough for a 1 night stay, what I didn't like was for my credit card details in order to cover any "incidental that might occur" before he gave me the key safe combination & that apparently being an Australian owned & operated hotel, the call centre appeared to be in India.

To begin they could not find my reservation. When finally found I was allocatted the worst possible room in the whole complex(photos available).what I cant understand is that the motel was practically unoccupied, why would they allocate the worst room.Being under new management you would think they would try to impress

We understand that this is a budget motel but expected the shower to work! we needed to be on the road by 7 am, went to have a showers and the hot water tap would not turn on. We didn’t have time to contact or swap rooms. A shower is a basic need and should be checked when the room is cleaned
