Staff couldn’t use computer to check us in, they had us go up and down elevator multiple time to return to the front desk, staff asked to keep my drivers license overnight until 3pm the next day to be able to check in after we leave. We paid full price for only 8 hours, room smelled like smoke so badly we had to sleep with face covered . Rooms had no hair dryer. Items in vending machine were stuck and or empty, I would not recommend to stay here unless they are smokers

Home away from home

I recently stayed at The Extended Stay in Port Charlotte, Florida, and it was a comfortable and convenient experience. This hotel is ideal for longer stays, offering everything you need to feel at home. The room was spacious and well-equipped with a full kitchenette, including a stove, microwave, and fridge, which made meal prep easy and saved me money during my stay. The bed was comfortable, and the workspace was a nice touch for those needing to get work done. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests. The housekeeping service was consistent and thorough, ensuring my room stayed clean and organized. The location is great—close to local restaurants, shopping, and easy access to nearby attractions. The property felt safe, and the on-site amenities were convenient and well-maintained. While the decor and furnishings could use a slight refresh, it didn’t detract from the overall comfort of the stay. For the price and the extended-stay accommodations, this hotel is a solid choice. I’d recommend this place for anyone visiting Port Charlotte for an extended period, whether for business or leisure.

We didn’t like the fact that we saw 2 different rooms on the same floor that our room was on, had broken locks and doors. Doesn’t give us the impression that the hotel is safe

Last Minute Stay with Dog

It was a little sterile but clean and very welcomed. The girl who checked us in was amazing. I would stay again and the check in was also amazing with my elderly dog. I asked for a first floor and she made it work. I was extremely grateful.
