Wish there were more lights in one corner of my unit, also some of the towel and hooks for clothing were high for me to reach
Beautiful room and excellent customer service. I highly recommend.

Standard Room
The hotel was a standard room. The floors was dirty although the beds were clean. We had to ask for toilet paper since what they provided was not enough. I preferred to have a full stock room. On the first night the jacuzzi was loud a on the floor above us. They don’t provide jacuzzi on every room.
When we first arrived we were greeted very warmly and were advised the room was not ready, it was ok because we were early. We were told we would get a call when it was. We never received a call and went back after 4pm. We were greeted by a very disgruntled front desk person who said " sorry I didn't have time to call you I was too busy correcting other peoples mistakes" There was a housekeeper at the front desk also who he was talking to about what rooms she had to finish. He then went on to tell us that all the front desk staff were reprimanded by the boss who wasn't there.
All of this was so very unprofessional. It made us very uncomfortable. There was no need to talk about all the personal business problems about staff. We avoided the front desk after that.
I was impressed with the water line being just outside our balcony. The hotel in general needs upgrading especially on the outside. For reserving a “deluxe” King Suite it was small! The hot tub had a dirty water line when we tried to sit back and relax. I doubt seriously they fill the tub up to the top to clean it. There was also a sticky brown stuff on the outside rim of the tub. This is our second stay here this year and I was promised a better stay if we came back. I asked for the hotel manager like he asked me to so he could make it right for us. We never were able to speak to him, the front desk manager said “I hate it when he does this.” This Inn could be really fabulous with some TLC and some attention from staff for their guest. The town is quiet and quaint. Fun little place to pop into and stay for a night.
Webooked a waterfront corner king room for New Years Eve. It was a renovated, clean room with beautiful views of the Salish Sea and ferry dock. The room had a small deck, which we did not use due to cold weather, which looked very worn and in need of repair. The room was spacious, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the cleaning chemical smell in the room was so overpowering that it gave me an asthma attack. The pillows smelled like B.O. and need to be replaced. We checked out early and will plan to stay elsewhere next time we're in town.
The room was smallish but clean. Two things could be improved:1) refrigerator was incredibly loud and interrupted sleep. At first I thought it was the ice maker and then realized it was the fridge, which i turned off at night. I mentioned this to staff during check out. Apology given but no credit; 2) windows to the bay were weather streaked. It would be nice if staff cleaned the windows if only with a squeegee.
