The apartment is situated in a historic Art Deco warehouse, which was converted into modern residential apartments in 2006. It is on a quiet road, set back just behind the beautiful port. There is a secure private parking space within the building which belongs to the apartment. You can walk from the car to the apartment without leaving the building.

The apartment entrance is on the second floor. The spacious, open plan living and dining area opens out onto the south-facing terrace, which has views of the surrounding hills and part of the port. There is a step onto the terrace. There is a staircase inside the property which leads down to the next level, where there are three bedrooms and bathroom/WC.

Sheets and towels can be rented for your stay, at a cost of 25 Euros per bed. This can be arranged directly with our agent (we will send details when you book).

The apartment is located one street behind the port, so it is fairly quiet and private. A two-minute walk will take you to the centre of the little town, with its beautiful port, shops and restaurants.

If you would like to visit Collioure, you can drive there in 5 - 10 minutes, or walk there in 25 minutes. There is also tourist bus service, which is usually available in the Summer which takes you there in 10 minutes.

The beautiful sandy beaches of Argelès-sur-Mer, St Cyprien and Canet are nearby, and you can drive to them all in 15 -30 minutes.

This is the ideal apartment for those who like the authentic life of a small French town, situated in a historic port, with all the attractions of the Cote Vermeille within reach.

Great location, excellent air conditioning and wifi
The appartement is very well located, with contemporary furnishings, excellent air conditioning and wifi, and indoor parking. It has a terrace with an open view. The property manager Ms. Eve adroitly explained what we needed to know about the appartement, some interesting nearby sites and beaches. The town of Port Vendres is well situated to visit and discover the Cote Vermeille and is not overrun by crowds. Between scuba diving, boating, canyoning, go-carting, lovely beaches, charming towns such as Banyuls, Collioure and medieval monuments (castles such as Peyrpertuse, cathedrals and early medieval villages (Castelnou)), the area offers a substantial variety of relaxing activities.

Great Location! Property Needs A Bit of TLC
My partner and I stayed in this flat for 2 months end of March to end of May. The location was fantastic...in a few minutes you were right on the Quai, where all the action happens...from fresh fruit sellers to cafes, pharmacies, etc. The view of a small part of the port and the surrounding hills is also great. The flat itself is a two level with the bedrooms and the only toilet and bathroom on the lower level. Having only 1 toilet and it being on the lower level was a bit of a hassle..but since we were only 2 people it was ok. But if you had people 6-7 ...which there are beds for...it might become challenging. Now to the bedding and cleanliness. The cupboards were a mess...mattress covers, pillows...quite tatty and some yellow stained from use...all were stuffed in a jumble which at first tumbled to the floor. The pillows didn't really fit the pillow cases given to us...the "useable" pillows were square while the cases were rectangle. The sheets didn't really match, and our first set seemed not too "fresh" ...we were given a second set a few days later which were much better. The first set I had to rewash immediately. We swept and mopped the floors on several occasions...even on the last time there was hair, and other debris left by previous tenants. The kitchen cupboards were also very untidy and unclean...especially the one under the sink. The glasses with dishes cupboard was ok...some others I didn't bother with... The oven Was very hard to get to work well...very tricky and also rather dirty. I finally gave up and only used the stove top. The TV worked...none of the other entertainment devices worked. We didn't mind as we had laptops and streamed Netflix movies. Other electrical equipment in the kitchen didn't work either...they hung on the wall unused. The microwave worked. All in all, we feel the place is a good basic place that needs more attention in cleaning...bedding, floors, cupboards, oven, etc. And some electronic gear needs fixing, or? The rental price was reasonable. And again, the location great! The balcony with the table and 4 chairs was delightful!

Clean, modern apartment, ideal location
Thank you to the owner Mathew for helping us with the flexible booking dates. Also, thank you to Eve for greeting us on arrival and showing us around the apartment. It was good to know that someone local was available to help with any problems. The apartment was well furnished and had everything we needed. The dishwasher and air conditioning were added bonuses. The apartment was ideally located with easy walking access to the supermarket, bakers and restaurants and we particularly enjoyed the view from the terrace, overlooking the harbour. Car parking space was easy to access, and useful as on street parking was difficult to find. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family.

Modern apartment, well appointed, convenient base
The apartment is clean, modern and has everything you might need for a stay in Port Vendres. We liked the balcony with views across the town to the hills. Port Vendres has lots of bars and restaurants and provided a calmer alternative base to the busier resorts like Collioure, which is only 5 minutes drive away but always absolutely rammed with tourists!

Great position and modern comforts
This maisonette is positioned just behind the front row of harbour properties and with steps or a lift down to harbour level, you can quickly and easily get to the harbour restaurants, cafés etc. The local buses offer €1 per journey, so transport to the other towns on the coast is so easy you don't need to get your car out! It was ideal for us for the first break of the year. Don't miss a trip to Collioure!

Nous revenons dans les environs de Port Vendres pour la 4e année, profiter de la réserve sous marine de Cerbère-Banyuls, des possibilités de randonnées à proximité et des petits musées d'art moderne (Ceret, Collioure, Banyuls, Port Vendres). Erg goede lokatie. We voelden ons snel thuis.
Goede lokatie, fijn appartement. Ochtendzon op het ruime balkon. Alle apparatuur werkte goed: oven, magnetron, vaatwasser, wasmachine etc. Wel waren alle kasten op de bovenverdieping al vol met keukenspullen, daardoor weinig ruimte voor proviand. Goede WiFi. De matrassen zouden wel beter kunnen. Inrichting is neutraal en anoniem. Geen vreemde luchtjes. Met een busje kom je niet in de parkeergarage, maar je kunt dichtbij gemakkelijk parkeren. Hierdoor liepen wij niet makkelijk naar buiten, drie sleutels, twee codes, en twee liften, maar het balkon en uitzicht maakt alles goed. Je wordt ontvangen door Eve, zij is het lokale contactpersoon. Zij spreekt goed Engels en is behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Port Vendres is een fijn dorp, leuker dan Collioure.

Bel appartement mais effort à faire sur le ménage.
Bel appartement, confortable, très lumineux, bien situé au centre de Port Vendres avec une belle vue sur la colline. Il faut toutefois préciser dans l’annonce que c’est un duplex et qu’il y a donc un escalier à monter et descendre plusieurs fois par jour entre le séjour et les chambres, toilettes et salle de bain. Malheureusement, nous avons trouvé cette habitation malpropre en général mais surtout la cuisine : intérieur des placards douteux, four électrique crasseux, batterie de cuisine mal lavée...... Dommage !

Große geräumige Wohnung mit sehr großem Balkon, zentral gelegen in Port-Vendres, trotzdem ruhig Wohnzimmer, Küche und Balkon auf einer Ebene, Schlafräume und Bad, Toilette im Untergeschoss, trotzdem hell und freundlich Sehr schnelle und kompetente e-mail Antworten des Vermieters, sehr entgegen kommend, da wir aufgrund von Erkrankung verschieben mussten. Bonne adresse pour visiter la Catalogne
L'appartement est spacieux, agréable à vivre avec sa terrasse extérieure couverte. L'immeuble est calme, bien situé dans la ville de Port-Vendres. La conciergerie a laissé à désirer …
Conciergerie : Accueil début séjour et clôture départ déprimants : pas de sens du service, agressivité , le client doit s’adapter dans un carcan quasi-militaire dicté par la conciergerie… clôture du séjour : reproches sur un ménage « trop propre » … d'habitude à la remise des clés on nous dit "merci" Dommage parce que les contacts avec le propriétaire des lieux ont été bienveillants et sympathiques. Mais bon on ne loue pas le bien à la conciergerie.

Er bevind zich een vrij grote trap in het appartement, is dus niet geschikt voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn. Omdat de motor van de airco op het terras is aangesloten is, op de momenten dat de airco aanstaat, verblijf op het terras veel te warm.

Sehr gute Wahl getroffen!
Die Informationen über die Unterkunft waren sehr zutreffend und hilfreich wie auch die Ansprechpartnerin, Eve, die uns sehr nützliche Hinweise vor Ort und auch eine sehr gute Einweisung geben konnte. Sie war überhaupt sehr hilfreich, ob es nun das Einparken in der nützlichen Garage oder die Funktionsweise der beiden Fahrstühle zum Zugang zu den Quais betraf. Und das alles mit sehr großer Freundlichkeit und Verständnis. Es hat alles hervorragend geklappt, und wir haben zwei sehr schöne Wochen in Port-Vendres verlebt.
