The house is located 2 km from the town in an old village. It enjoys autonomy and allows guests to live in a typical farmhouse decorated with antique furniture and its external pertinence. It overlooks a courtyard, a 16-by-3.5-meter pool, a large terrace, and a porch with benches and tables. View on woods and hills.
The house of the 18th century, like the old farmhouses of Monferrato, opens onto a staircase that leads upstairs. On the ground floor, intended for the living area, we find, on the right, a living room with a sofa, and fireplace; To the left the kitchen which overlooks a hallway and a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. Upstairs there is another bathroom with a bathtub and two bedrooms, one double and the other with two fireplaces and two single beds.

Lovely rustic house with pool in Portacomaro
We had a lovely stay at Portacomaro. The pool and house were great. And Nadia the host was very helpful. It is close to a lovely town. And a good base to explore the lovely Piedmont region.

Un rifugio tranquillo lontano dall'overtourism
Anche l'arrivo è stato semplice ed efficace. Nadia è un host molto disponibile, cordiale e discreto. La sua casa è proprio accanto, ma abbiamo avuto tutto per noi per le due settimane intere. La vecchia casa è molto spaziosa e perfettamente pulita. L'arredamento è semplice, ma non manca nulla. I letti hanno materassi nuovi e robusti e abbiamo dormito benissimo. Gas, acqua, elettricità e WiFi sono disponibili 24 ore su 24 senza interruzioni. Ci sono opportunità di shopping e ristoranti a Portacomaro e dintorni. La casa è molto tranquilla e allo stesso tempo non isolata, un po' lontana dal paese. Avere il proprio veicolo è essenziale. I dintorni belli e straordinariamente diversi sono autenticamente italiani e c'è molto da scoprire. Ci sono pochissimi turisti, soprattutto all'inizio della stagione. In mezzo al verde della natura si possono anche trascorrere giornate di relax a bordo piscina e all'ombra dell'ampia veranda. La piscina di 16 metri è straordinaria: non solo permette di rinfrescarsi, ma ci si può davvero nuotare. Vorremmo venire di nuovo.

Heerlijk traditionele Italiaanse woning. Prachtige locatie, bijzonder stil.
Enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Portacomaro. Nadia is vriendelijke buurvrouw en verhuurder. De woning is eenvoudig maar zeer functioneel. Zwembad heerlijk als je van baantjes zwemmen houdt.

Nous avons passé des vacances parfaites et reposantes . La maison est spacieuse et confortable. La piscine est propre et bien entretenue. Nous avons pu profiter du charme des villages environnants et du calme. Nadia est souriante et très chaleureuse. J’ai beaucoup apprécié d’échanger avec elle.

Goede uitvalsbasis om Piemonte te ontdekken
Het huisje is vrij basic zoals beschreven maar heeft een fijne vibe en alles wat je nodig hebt. Een douchegordijn in de badkamers zou wel fijn zijn. Het zwembad is fijn, van op het houten terras heb je een mooi uitzicht. Wel konden we ‘s avonds niet buiten zitten zonder te worden opgegeten door de muggen, maar dat is een veel voorkomende plaag in Piemonte. Nadia is heel vriendelijk en bereikbaar. Om het huisje te vinden moet je de oprit nemen voor huisnr 78 (wij reden even mis de eerste keer).

Authentic place
It is exactly the wonderful place you see in the pictures. The house is genuine and rustic, but swimming area, bathrooms and kitchen are modern in a good way. Car is needed, but I think it is not a problem since everybody wants to explore the beautiful surrondings. Also the scenes from the house are awesome. Nadja is wonderful person and helped if we needed something. I can highly recommend!

De 2 sterren zijn voor het mooie uitzicht en de vriendelijke eigenaresse, die ons heeft geholpen met een reservering in een goed restaurant op 2e Paasdag. Helaas was dit de eerste keer in alle jaren dat we een slechte ervaring met VRBO hebben gehad. Het huis is koud, kaal, erg ongezellig en de matrassen zijn zo hard dat we heel slecht sliepen. De deur van de ene slaapkamer schraapte over de kale stenen vloer en kon alleen met veel moeite dicht. Ook simpele dingen zoals een douche gordijn ontbreken, dus douchen werd een waterballet. Geen wonder dat er voornamelijk foto’s van het zwembad en terras worden getoond, dat is het beste van het geheel. Maar ook het zwembad stelde teleur; het was erg vies (randen vol met aangekoekte insecten en vol met blaadjes etc), geen trap en een erg wiebelig laddertje dat los zat. We vragen ons echt af of de positieve beoordelingen van familie/kennissen zijn.. zo vermeldt bijvoorbeeld iemand dat de eigenaresse goed Engels spreekt. Dat doet ze helemaal niet, wel Frans en gelukkig is dat voor ons geen probleem. Na 3 nachten waren we het echt zat en zijn we doodmoe weggegaan. Heel zonde van het geld van de overige nachten, maar hier werden we niet blij van. Zoals gezegd, eerste keer dat we een slechte ervaring hadden; en gezien alle 5 sterren beoordelingen die wij van de andere verhuurders hebben gehad, zijn wij geen lastige gasten. Hopelijk volgende keer beter.

Sehr schönes Reiseziel
Ein wunderbares Haus mitten im Piemont. Hervorragender Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend zu erkunden. Sehr schönes altes Haus im italienischen Stil, traumhaft gelegen. Die kleine Küche hat uns völlig ausgereicht und in den schönen Zimmern schläft man hervorragend. Tolle Location, nette Vermieter, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Rust en stilte.
De vakantiewoning is een charmant landhuis met nog veel oude elementen van vroeger aanwezig waardoor je de sfeer van vroeger kunt voelen maar met hedendaags comfort. Het zwembad is groot en wordt goed onderhouden. Het ligt niet ver van de belangrijke verbindingswegen zodat men de streek makkelijk kan ontdekken. Op 6km ligt er een groot shoppingcenter. Nadia is de perfecte gastvrouw. Zeer behulpzaam. Ze spreekt Engels en Frans. Nadia kan je ook veel tips geven over de streek. We hebben genoten van de streek en van de rust. Hartelijk bedankt Nadia.

Immer wieder gerne!
Nadia ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin und war zu jederzeit für uns da. Das Haus war sauber und gemütlich. Der Pool war auch sauber und sehr gross. Mann kann sehr gut draussen essen und man hat alles was man für einen schönen Urlaub benötigt.

Excellent holiday in the year of the pandemic
Nadia's charming old house is simply but adequately furnished - and charmingly, with old furniture. Electrical appliances are excellent. It is beautifully situated and very quiet. We enjoyed the opportunity to get to places like Turin, Asti and Alba quickly and easily. Portacomaro itself is tiny and not exactly bustling, but it is only a few minutes drive into Asti, which has everything one could need. Nadia is a charming and helpful "landlady". Her English is excellent. If the world were not so full of places to visit, we would definitely be back again.
