The desk manager that checked us in was sweet enough to let us check in early. Starting with the positive…the breakfast was a nice touch. Food was ok although not as hot as it could have been. On the negative side…When we got into our room, we found a juice cup with juice that had spilled on the side of our couch. The desk manager came up and cleaned it up. The biggest thing we noticed is that the entire facility smelled funky and everything was aged. This property needs to be updated desperately. Our couch had stains on it, a cigarette hole despite it being a smoke free facility, and tears in the seams. The desk and chair hadn’t been dusted in sometime, the floors weren’t getting cleaned thoroughly and the list goes on. I believe we paid way too much for our room despite the special price. My recommendation, if you can afford it, is to stay at Doubletree or somewhere other than at Comfort Inn.

Excellent location, near Washington Square Mall and other stores. Lots of restaurants nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. Facility probably needs some maintenance, or at least the room that we stayed in. Carpet was quite dirty and the entire bathroom seemed rundown such as the bathtub, toilet seat and the door.

Doors did not seal tight so lots of light and noise came through from the hallway. This morning the water to the property was shut off and guests were not informed ahead, so could not take a shower or brush my teeth or even flush the toilet.

The place was fine. I stayed two nights due to a family matter close by. Lucky there was an elevator. The bed was fine. The room was nice enough. The breakfast was good, the usual fare, the coffee in the breakfast area was good. The little coffee maker in the room did not have the correct “drawer” to put the coffee packet in. Instead there was a flimsy plastic “drawer” the disposable kind that comes contained in one package with the coffee packet. I took it to the desk and told the clerk the problem. She gave it to the maintenance man who told me it worked as I was checking out. I explained that yes, it did heat up the water but the “drawer” was not correct. He said and I quote: “you have to but in the right way”. He did not have the flimsy “drawer” when he showed me it was hot so that I could demonstrate it would not stay in the slot. I don’t like being spoken to that way. He was sure I was wrong and he was right. I told them both I had spent many days in hotels with coffee makers and the pieces were not compatible. I appreciated that they allow dogs but I put his food down and got lots of ants within 10 minutes from the second floor.

I have been staying here every Saturday for months and I come today and they take 100 bucks off my credit card as a hold and they have never done that before I’m extremely mad and the hallways smell like wet dog the lady in the office was rude I will never stay here again after tonight

Don’t trust the website pictures!! Beware!!

Pictures on the website were very deceiving!! Hotel is very run down, not in a good area, service was horrible, waited 20 mins for someone just to check in! While walking to our room, constant dogs barking, our room had a horrible smell and felt like I was breathing in mold all night! The bedding and towels were clean…thankfully! However, we would have left if it wasn’t 10pm when we finally got checked in, and we were just going to be headed out first thing in the morning. View was of the gas station across the street. Worried about the state of our vehicle all night…never again!!

Positive Review!

The bed and pillows were more comfortable than I am used to in hotels. The lighting was also considerably better especially for reading, and it was easy to adjust to whatever I needed. The room was very clean, and quiet. The front desk was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The carpet was worn and had holes The wall plate was hanging on the cable from the wall The phone did not work The staff could care less about being quiet. They were constantly talking and laughing after 11pm and starting at 5;30am, this includes the breakfast setup staff who were banging carts and other things during setup

The tubs are chipping, walls are all scuffed up. Bed hard and uncomfortable. Cabinets don’t fit properly and hot water and cold water are on the opposite sides where they normally should be. Staff some are friendly others give you a cold shoulder. I won’t stay here again I have stayed in hotel 6 that were nicer then this place.
