I was assigned a room where to door did not have a safety latch (half of it was missing) and the locking plate was barely attached to the door molding. It looks like somebody had dug out the molding behind the entire plate. I had to Use my body to open my door and slam the door shut to make sure it closed appropriately. (I have pictures of this as well.).

*cockroaches* If I could rate this place zero stars I would. The entire place was dirty including our room. I normally don’t bother with writing reviews even if it’s bad because I feel like most places need the benefit of the doubt once in a while but this stay was truly disgusting. I could list about a dozen things that were wrong with our stay from the FILTHY floors to the dogs in the breakfast area but the final straw was when I got home and brought my toiletries bag into the house and a COCKROACH crawled out of my toiletries bag. I didn’t even know it was a cockroach, I had to reverse google image search it as I had never seen one before in person but sure enough… it was a cockroach. I contacted the hotel and they gave me a MINIMAL amount back when I requested a refund. It was awful.
