The location is close enough to downtown to walk it but if you’re not up to it the shuttle service is a secret worth sharing. We have not had a bad stay yet.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and the overnight staff were very nice. We appreciated the shuttle service to our destination, which was just a 4-minute ride from the hotel. However, I hope they improve the parking situation for larger vehicles, as the parking was quite tight, and there was a $25 fee for parking. It would also be beneficial to have a coffee station available for guests upon arrival and departure, as not everyone makes it to breakfast. Simple offerings like cookies and coffee can really brighten a guest's day. Overall, it's a great facility!

The stay was ok. Some (small) things I noticed was the indoor thermometer to my room didn't appear to be connected to the unit in my room, so the unit had to be operated manually; the remote for the tv was wonky at best, and the upholstery in their breakfast area looked torn in places.

The hotel is in an excellent location near to many great shops and restaurants. However the cleanliness of the room was sub-par, with the toilet not cleaned, leftover candy on the floor (not ours, yuck!), and a sticky substance all over the phone (soda?). The pool water was also very chilly, though the man at the desk said there had been some mechanical issues with the heater. The pool area was locked when we went down with keycards not working, and we received prompt care and assistance from the kind person at the front desk (I think his name was John), who walked us down, tried his own key, and ultimately resolved the issue, calling back to our room to notify us.

This Holiday Inn is a great value for cost. The room was very clean and because it’s located at the top of a hill we had an amazing view out our window. We parked in the garage below the hotel and used the complimentary shuttle service that took us everywhere in downtown we wanted to go. Would absolutely stay here again for a night out in Portland!
