Steep stairs to check in. They did have a ramp. Stair railing on entrance steps too low. Seems like it is not to current ADA code.

The back of the property is stunning. The staff was very very nice. Room was OK but they forgot to clean our room the night before we were headed out. They also had to come fix our AC unit. It was really hot. Not fun when you’re trying to pack and get ready to leave out the next day. Also, the area around the hotel is a bit city. a little unsafe to go to the grocery store and other areas around there. However, I think all of the Portland area is like this. All in all we enjoyed our stay. Will we stay again? Probably so.

My first night was in the older side and the 438 room smelled and had mold in the shower. Claire switched my room the next day and it was much better. It was clean , quiet and had no odor. Rm 312 on left of hotel lobby. If you go at night it doesn’t feel as safe as during the day. They do have security .
