Really recommend
Gorgeous. The hotel is boutique and new enough, or at least well maintained enough to feel like you’re the first person to enter the room. Throughout the hotel too, the dining area, spa and reception look like they’ve just come out from under the covers in which they were delivered. The decor is chic and present enough to make you feel like you’re surrounded by the comforts of your home, without it being overbearing. The staff were exceptional the breakfast buffet was sublime. Would recommend. The only thing I would change is that it became an adults only hotel, or at least 16 and up. It’s too nice to have screaming children ruining the effort that has so clearly been made to make this look and feel like a luxury stay.

Super clean and smart. Great central location. Cafes, bars, restaurants abound . Plenty of sights to see conveniently from hotel as base. Staff very helpful in giving advice. Part of Porto is presence of homeless rough sleepers. Much of Porto is dilapidated so there is lits of building work.

I never wanted to leave this property. It was the height of excellence and beauty. We’ve travelled extensively and this property is in the top 3 of the hundreds of hotels we have visited in 40 years. Breakfast in the garden was such a beautiful experience. Hotel is walkable to many restaurants and historic monuments. The main stop for the Hop on, Hop off bus is just across the street allowing for easy tours of the city attractions. Would recommend GA Palace to everyone.
