We didn’t receive access information to the property, so this involved a phone call on the day which incurred extra costs.
Once in, the location was ok, and the property was spacious and clean, we received a complimentary bottle of wine also (though we didn’t actually drink it).
The WiFi however was awful, it wouldn’t maintain a connection to our devices, and wouldn’t connect to the Smart TV at all.
Even though we went exploring each day, we would have liked a WiFi connection in the evenings.
I emailed on day 1, and they reset the router on day 2, this didn’t fix the connection. I emailed again, they said they would send someone to look, this never happened and we had no further replies.
We stayed 4 nights.
The bed was also was very uncomfortable leading to poor sleep for us both every night.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Gaia as it’s walking distance to Porto, the apartment was clean and quiet, but we would not stay at the apartment again due to poor communication, non existent WiFi, and a very uncomfortable bed.
