Comfy surroundings - creating a home from home with all you need for a cosy break. The owner is an interior designer and opulent fabrics combined with unique vintage finds have been carefully chosen to create a collected atmosphere. A unique house with bags of character inspired by the surroundings of bohemian Southsea with its laid back seaside vibes and quirky independent shops, bars and restaurants.

We would prefer to host families or quieter guests.
The space
Recently refurbished the kitchen and bathrooms are brand new. The aesthetic is maximalist retaining many ornate Victorian features. The colours are bold and there are many rich textures. It offers three double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, one single bedroom, a basement room with a double sofa bed, a parlour, a ground floor cloakroom/utility area and an open plan kitchen with dining area with access to a rear patio and garden.
Guest access
The property offers on-road parking for which a daily parking permit will be provided. All you need is within walking distance.
Other things to note
Nestled in a beautiful authentic Victorian conservation area - just a short stroll to the common, beach and independent shops, bars and restaurants.

Very clean and great location
There were three of us that stayed at the property. It was very clean and location was perfect. Short walk to the train station. If you don't mind walking 1-2 miles you can easily reach the dock. The kitchen and eating area were a great place to gather. The bedrooms are on separate floors, so there are some steps to consider, Trevor and Amanda were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We all our visit to Portsmouth!

A very pleasant stay!
A cute Victorian property with deceptively plenty of space for sharing couples or a family. Very homely and just a short walk to local pubs and restaurants and of course to the beach. We stayed here to be within easy reach of Victorious Festival, so it was perfectly located, even managed a sunny sit down in the garden between rain showers. The host was very accommodating and communication was excellent.
