Nice place
It was nice but we didn’t like that the bunk beds had no railings. It had nice clean beds and an updated look to the place. Didn’t have much for kitchen accommodations- such as spices, flour, baking powder, baking soda, basic stuff you need to cook with. But did have all the electrical appliances and pans. Kitchen towels smelled sour. But overall it was great and we would stay again if the opportunity arises.

Truth in advertising.
1st: it is a 3 room apartment above a huge garage. 2nd, there are 18 outside, tall uncovered concrete steps you must go & down every time you go in and out and in winter it is horribly dicey. It was winter during my stay. I am 71 and it was every challenging. 3rd Hauser Gun Club is about a mile as the crow flies and the sound of constant gunfire during the day is maddening. However: it is quiet at night, very clean, new and though small, nice. The TV gets few channels but Fox news is the one on...given the gunfire; I totally get it. Yet: I do recommend it for those who read this and say "No problem" to what I felt were issues.

Cute and Quiet
Cute, quiet little place for our family of 5. We stayed here while on our trip to Silverwood. Nice and close to the park. Just a short 20ish minute drive away. The only thing I want to mention for other families with kids is that if you need to use all 3 beds in the bunk room, just be aware that the top bunk is really high and has no bar. None of ours would sleep up there. But such a minor detail and didn’t hurt our stay at all! We’d definitely stay again.

Feels like sleepaway camp
First, the good news: VRA, the VRBO rental managers, are amazing. They’re responsive and helpful and go above and beyond to meet expectations. So much so that they exceeded my expectations and that’s not easy to do. Next visit, I’ll reach out to them first to see which properties they’re managing. The rental itself would have been fine for a young couple or family who have spent the last several years camping in tents and sleeping bags, and are ready for a roof over their heads but don’t require much more in the way of creature comforts. The furniture is worn, the kitchen chairs are all-metal, and I’ve seen camping backpacks that are better equipped than the kitchen. Not a good choice for an older couple like us who like a little luxury. None of those “criticisms” accrue to VRA by the way - all of that is on the owner. But if, like me, one of the reasons you choose a house instead of a hotel is because you like to make your own food, bring an apron, oven mitts, tongs, and a long-handled spoon. You won’t be sorry.

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful long weekend. Quiet setting. Nicely decorated. Full kitchen. They had board games we played on the deck in the evenings. Had coffee on the deck every morning. A cat came to visit often. We called it Jerry. Would definitely recommend.

Tranquil yet Functional
What a beautiful space to relax and enjoy family and nature. The open layout was very functional for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The bedrooms were set up very well with nice beds and linens, as well as very functional closets. The deck was perfect for having coffee in the morning and watching the sun come up over the lake and through the trees. It was picturesque. The gaggle of wild turkeys that passed through the yard every morning were extremely entertaining.

Beautiful quiet retreat
We really enjoyed our stay! The property was just as described and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The bedrooms did get a bit warm. We did bring a table fan with us and opened the windows which helped a bunch. The only thing I wished they had was a blow dryer. And if you like bar soap for the shower, bring your own. I think there was a shower gel, but we used our own soap. We enjoyed the patio in the morning, so lovely. And the cutest, sweetest cat would be there to greet us in the morning and evening. Location is beautiful. Easy drive to Hauser Lake public access. We swam and paddle boarded. And about a 30 min. drive to Coeur D’Alene where we enjoyed the lake there and yummy restaurants that were recommended in the welcome book. I had a couple questions and they responded very quickly. Would visit again.

Peaceful and very clean property
This place was very peaceful, had nice views and a great patio to have my morning coffee, and lights to enjoy in the evening. The open concept for the living room and kitchen was great for family time and still had private bedrooms, which had very comfortable bedding and pillows. Plenty of towels also. Very nice kitchen, appliances, and dishes. There was already olive oil left for cooking which was nice. I have no complaints for the actual property at all! Lots of little tables to display all our stuff and organize things, which was so helpful! The location is off a main road about a 10 minute drive and when we went to coerd'alene, we just needed to make sure we had everything for the day since it was about 25 mins to drive. The binder wasn't inside the house but the host let us know recommendations for restaurants. The list of amenities could be a little more thorough with actual # of beds and sizes, Air conditioning, kitchen appliances available (didn't find a toaster). Just so one doesnt have to keep contacting the host and bug them with questions as they arise. I would stay here again for sure, but maybe next time utilize Hauser Lake more since it's so much closer. An added bonus was a sweet cat that visited me while having my morning coffee!
