They have a restaurant and bar that were never open when I was looking for food or drinks.
The bathroom was tiny, the shower floor was very slippery and I couldn’t get a consistent water temperature. The shower would go from hot to cold. The bathroom smelled like poop and you could hear other rooms flushing and constant water running.
I left a yeti tumbler in the room which was found and turned in but they refused to mail it back. So, now we have to send them a self addressed return envelope.
The other Holiday Inn, 3 miles down the same street was a much better experience and included a wonderful complimentary breakfast.
I made the mistake of booking the wrong Holiday Inn. Will make sure that doesn’t happen again.
Horrible experience had to move my toom at 2am because thermostat wasnt working in the room they should be checking rooms before putting guest in the rooms
Property is advertised as pet friendly, but fee isn't mentioned. They charge per pet - other hotels do not. There is no place to walk your dog. You are walking right next to a 50 mile per hour highway.
Also, we should have been able to pay for breakfast upon check-in, but were simply advised "it's not included". The drive to get a cup of coffee is about 5 miles and a deer jumped right in front of my car on the highway. They should offer a cup of coffee in the lobby.
2nd night came back to the hall reeking of pot and our room even worse. Tried calling the front desk 4-5 times with room phone and 2 times with my cell. No answer and no one at the desk! Called IHG and THEY could not get the desk to answer! IHG said they would escalate to owner and general manager who would call me the next day. Came home and called IHG 2 days after trip (3 days after incident) and THEY again could not get the hotel to answer and said I’d have a call from the owner/GM. A week after our trip, I’m still waiting.
DISGUSTING. BED BUGS or fleas jumping all over the bed area, GROSS stains on EVERY wall.
Basically- overpriced motel. Outside- only taped off abandoned construction. No patio. No cleaning staff anywhere in sight, anytime throughout the day, probably because no one really cleans the rooms or property there. Water dripping from ceilings in the rain. Moldy.
You’d think this place should be shut down by now. Worst place to stay at- definitely don’t bring children here- not safe. No breakfast on holidays. HORRIBLE PLACE. There are many way better options.
