Great place to stay in Furnas. The property is old but well taken care of, maintained and super clean. You can tell that whoever runs this place really loves it. I read complains about limited breakfast but good luck finding something more than ham and cheese sandwich earlier than 10.30 am elsewhere in Portugal lol. I would recommend this place to stay

Staff was friendly, the hotel was conveniently located in the town. I took us only 10-15 minutes to walk to spas. Breakfast was moderate. Free parking is possible right across the street.

Easy to find hotel which is in a good location. We were next to a room where it sounded like a generator was running. This kept us awake.

Cute hotel in Furnas
Very cute and clean hotel within walking distance to all the attractions/activities (Dona Beija, Lagoa das Furnas, and Parque Terra Nostra) in Furnas. The owners are very nice and hospitable. I would definitely stay there again.

Hotel in small town
We stayed in Furnas looking for some R & R and that is exactly what this town offers. However, the hotel is located on the same street as the caldeiras and you could smell the sulphur in the morning and the room felt very stuffy. Our bedroom had two very uncomfortable twin-sized beds that were pushed together and made for sleepless nights. Breakfast was very minimal, sliced cheese and a type of sliced meat and few choices of breads with jam and butter. There was also some fruit and cereal but minimal selection.
