Well out of town centre but mostly down hill past some great places to see if you plan your route carefully. Breakfast was very average. There are a lot of stairs and the lift is old and scary and does not go to all levels, so you will have to carry your bags at least some of the way. Overall not bad for the price.

Nice cheap stay in Prague
It was a nice stay in Hotel Marketa. I liked kind receptionists and delicious breakfast. It's easy to get to the city centre. Problem is that building design - the beam is too close to the bed, and my partner hit his head to the beam! Also traffic is so noisy early in the morning because of the road structure (stone-built). I wished they have cleaned the dusty floor in some points.

Marketa lovely stay
Stayed Monday to Friday was lovely place very comfortable. Bed maybe little too hard for us. Ideally situated to get onto buses and trams. Trams very useful if no car defo recommend. Beautiful scenery and food at every corner. Buffet breakfast was adequate. Rooms very like a posh Travelodge.

Nice hotel close to airport and downtown Prague.
We needed a clean, comfortable room for 3 near the airport. The staff was very friendly abd helpful. 15 minutes from both airport to the north and downtown Prague to the South.

Good place to stay in town.
Stayed at this place for 6 days while on vacation. The rooms were very basic, but very well maintained and kept nicely cleaned. Staff were extremely friendly. Although a misunderstanding was made and they had forgotten to relay a message from my shuttle telling me when they would be picking me up- the staff were very apologetic for the oversight and tried to make things up to me. About the only thing I can say negative is that the breakfast was not anything to write home about- very basic cold plate and cereal with not a lot of exciting variety- but it's included free in the hotel price, which is always valuable to have. Travel around the city was a bit of a pain (the tram/bus stops I needed were a 15 minute walk away on very steep hills and steps), but this is a problem with the location, not the hotel. One may need to consider this when booking the hotels. It's a non-issue for most, but a major item for those with accessibility concerns or are physically unfit.

WARNING!!!: Smokers hotel...stay away!
Rated well, so I booked. Arrived & noticed smoke smell. In room there was an ashtray. Went to reception and asked for a non-smoking room- they didn't have any. Informed them that I have asthma and asked for refund, but she denied and said it was too bad for me but the hotel accommodates smokers. Money wasted, and my bad luck I guess.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, reasonable price, the room was clean and comfortable and quiet, breakfast adequate, Located in a quiet, hilly neighborhood, a bit distant from the old town center. I would definitely stay here again.

Polite staff.
We got there close to 11 at night and were just there long enough for a few hours sleep before catching a plane but the staff was very nice, room was cozy and clean and they promptly called us a cab in the AM as requested. Short but nice stay!

In quiet residential area, near to tram and a short walk from Prague castle and stunning views over the city. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfasts were nice. I would stay there again. Very good value for money.

Hotel too far out from city centre
The hotel itself was ok, room never cleaned properly, bed sheets changed once the 7 days I was there. Some days no clean towels. Breakfast was ok in a nice breakfast room. Also derelict building straight across from hotel. Trams are 10 minutes walk. Bus is about 5 minutes walk.

Good location for arrival on airport side of city
Study Abroad with professional students. Good meeting location on airport side of the city when students arrive. Best taxi deal is using the desk to arrange pick up from airport. Difficult to find for taxi driver selected randomly from airport. Walk to public transportation is a bit hilly and with turns that may challenge first time visitors
