The hotel was conviently located within walking distance to the Old Town Square . Plenty of nice restaurants and things to see and do. Hotel breakfast was plentiful and varied Servicing the rooms was a bit spasmodic. Never sure what would be left. Amenities in the room were a bit sparse for a hotel of its class. Firstly, the room had absolutely no soundproofing. You could hear everyone talking and walking in the corridor, as well as conversations even their sneezing from the next room late at night. Secondly, the TV unexpectedly turned on by itself in the morning while we were sleeping, blasting sound. It was truly alarming and disruptive. Thirdly, the water pressure in the shower was extremely weak, making it uncomfortable to use. The heater in the bathroom not working. The staffs were very nice, but the hardware and facilities are seriously lacking. Without addressing the soundproofing issues, how can the hotel provide a relaxing and restful stay? No matter how good the service is, it won’t make up for these fundamental problems.

The location was perfect for a walking tour of Prague. Krystina and Petr at the concierge counter gave very good suggestions and directions. There is a good Italian resto near the hotel called Farina. Team and subway station very near the hotel too.
