The only reason this hotel earns two stars instead of one is its central location and the manager’s effort to partially redeem a terrible breakfast experience by waiving the charge. Otherwise, the hotel is old and poorly maintained. The room we stayed in had a terrible odor, forcing us to keep the windows open day and night to air it out. It smelled of stale body odor, as if it hadn’t been ventilated in a long time. The gym is tiny and almost unusable, and the spa amenities are extremely minimal. The worst part of the stay, however, was the breakfast. The buffet was sparse and disappointing, yet they charged an astonishing 35 euros per person. While this included one entrée, you could easily find a better, more reasonably priced breakfast at numerous restaurants or cafés nearby. The restaurant manager’s behavior was even more appalling. Shortly after removing our plates—while we were still drinking our coffee—she approached us with the card reader in hand and asked, “Can you pay now?” This was surprising and unprofessional, especially since they knew we were hotel guests; we had checked in upon arrival. I agreed to charge it to the room, but when I gave her the name of our suite (which doesn’t have a number), she demanded the room number, becoming increasingly impatient. I clarified again that it was a suite name, not a number, but she made us feel rushed and unwelcome. After paying, she returned, insisting she “needed to explain” why she asked for the room number and accus

The hotel and Expedia disagreed on whether breakfast waa included; Expedia says it was and the hotel says it wasn't, I didn't fight it. But verify before you expect.

The air conditioning was turned off for the season. The room was too hot to sleep at night and you can’t open the windows as you will stay up at night from the street noise. They need to keep the air conditioning on till end of October. I loved the hotel, but having 2 sleepless nights for the price that I paid for the hotel, they could do better

side: Perfect Location, room and hotel very clean, excellent check in and check out experience, staff is friendly. - side: 1. I was given a room with the huge bath tub, that has different levels of bathroom floor and bath tub floor - it was not safe to get in and out of the bath tub to take a shower, slippery and inconvenient - not even one handle. very dangerous for people 65 2. breakfast food variety and especially service was not good for a 5 star Hotel. 3. I needed to work during the day for couple of hours. It is a desk that you can use, but there is no light near the desk, dark even in day time. You need to move the floor lamp from the small sitting area to get some light. Also only one connection near the desk - have to choose what to charge - computer or phone. 3.

Property is very well kept it is beautiful. That being said the rooms are very small and the restaurant is very good but very limited on what you can eat. I mean I was by myself. I don’t know how a couple could fit into the room I did have I had the hotel book me a train and the train was canceled due to weather And I have since emailed the hotel to find out getting my money back because I use their email and they have not responded

Nice little hotel, rooms are small, tub showers are not easy to get in/out of! Found some of the bar staff quite arrogant and a little rude, breakfast staff were great!
