If I opened a hotel this would be my vision. It was warm, cozy and inviting. It was perfect. You can have drinks, food and listen to a band without leaving. They took their time to design the rooms. We highly recommend it!

The description of this room was inaccurate. There was a fireplace but it was in an area separate from the bed. The TV had a terrible signal. The carpet had multiple stains. Our room was described as a luxury room but it had Walmart “Great Value” coffee pods. It was very disappointing. Not worth $260 a night.

Nice but a little noisy
Very nice hotel, great location, loved the river views. My main issue was noise, specifically being able to hear the guest in the room above me, which is partly due to the rooms having no carpet… which also made for a cold floor on a cold morning. I also had an end room next to the stairwell and could hear people climbing the stairs and slamming the stairwell doors open and close all night.

Everything was wonderful Check in a little slow but not a problem They had to make sure that our room was ready Located next to bridge over the Mississippi River so at times a little noisy. Did not notice the noise after falling asleep

This property is a very clean upscale hotel. Many amenities with restaurant and bar on site. Great view of the river and down town. Always stay there on our trips to Prairie!

There was alot going on with a wedding rehearsal and OCTOBERFEST so it was very busy, but once we got into our way it was ok! Checkin employee let us park so we didn’t have much of a walk which was nice !!

Overpriced but nice bar / restaurant
This place is overpriced. We splurged because of the location but ended up with a view of the parking lot. Even the "rooftop bar / restaurant" does not really offer river views. Refused to check us in even 15 minutes early. The room was nice but nothing outstanding. Breakfast was more than I expected and in a lovely space - the hotel should make better use of that breakfast area. Nice bathroom and shower but cheap towels. Overall, I was disappointed.

The property is clean, for sure, but overall, it wasn't as enticing as the photos make it look. A few things made our stay less than stellar: --No drawers to put clothes in. --No handles on the drawers and cupboards in the kitchenette, making it really hard to open or use the cabinets. --Our room had a couch, but no side lamps for reading nor a coffee table nor side table for setting down a drink or book. --A desk, but no chair that properly fit comfortably with the desk (the easy chair didn't cut it). Downstairs, there's a gorgeous great room overlooking the water, where you could relax for a while. But there was always a TV insipidly droning on somewhere (either in the nearby lobby or the great room itself) wrecking what could be a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The bar is really pleasant (though we didn't try the food). The location is good--adjacent to the downtown. The hotel is on a busy intersection, so ask for a quieter room if this will bother you.
