Great room in a great neighborhood
The room we had was always clean, wellmade, and very conveniently located to food, the metro, and the Vatican attractions. Would absolutely stay there again!

Overall my experience with Star Vatican Rooms has been very pleasant; the location is excellent because it is blocks from the Vatican City and very close to most of the attractions to visit. Also, around the hotel there are some restaurants of different prices and types of food. There was always hot water; every day the cleaning service came, changed the towels and made the beds. What I think should be improved is the quality of the sofa bed in the junior room. We were 4 adults, two of us had no problems because the double bed was very good but the other two people were not very comfortable on the sofa bed, the mattress was not good. If I return to Rome, I will definitely go back to Star Vatican Rooms, but I will make sure that there are four beds for adults. I recommend this apart hotel, to stay and to visit Rome.

For one night was ok, staff were nice, shower drain didn’t work, nightmare to get parking, and the only thing that is kind of close to walk was the Vatican museum and sixteen chapel.

We had 4 of us (2 adults plus 10 yr old and 12 yr old) and this was a great two room option at a really good value. The main bedroom had a door separating the living area with pull out bed. The ac was a mini split so had to consider that when blocking off the rooms. Nice bathroom. They already had the bed out and sheets on it which was great. It was very convenient to the Vatican and Castle Santa Angelo. It was on a street (not a main street) so will get some city noise. Several restaurants were within easy walk. Things to watch out for. The room we had was at a different address (though close to the original one). Mattered just because I had to update the transport services from the airport etc. Also note that since it is a satellite location you need to be able to check in during the stated window and you can't store your luggage. Overall though, I would definitely stay there again given the value/ location.

If i knew the property is in bad shape, i wouldn’t grab this room. In fact the agent is really bad. No trainings at all. Un respectful, impolite and no sense of urgency. I regret booking this property. It’s not a hotel and u have to go to hotel gravina to store your luggage and it’s really really far. They should’ve train people. It’s absolutely zero rates in terms of everything. Expedia team, please make sure the properties you are promoting are well equipped. Not just because u are gaining profits ok? Disgusting!!!!

After the issue with getting into the property (given no details about entering, miscommunication with staff, and not being met at our arranged time for almost an hour delay) we had a relatively good stay. Very inconvenient. No staff to assist and no means to connect with staff if one doesnt have a SIM card. The door codes were changed without informing us and we got stuck late at night. Had to use international roaming to call them as again no means to connect with staff. They have a kitchen but no basic supplies provided. Biggest red flag was poor communication. No clean toilets, poor lighting. Would never book again ever.
