Villa Caterina is a newly built house with a large park and a swimming pool for exclusive use of our guests. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, beach chairs, sun garden umbrellas, tables and chairs, in addition, there is a hi-fi to relax sunbathing with your favourite music. In one corner of the swimming pool area, a shower with hot water heated by the sun is installed.
For sports lovers, inside the wooden cabin, you will find 4 Mountain Bike to take full advantage of the streets and paths of the National Park of Casentino Forests. The car parking is located inside the property and is accessible through a gate which opens automatically. If you enjoy barbecue, you can find one in concrete equipped with firewood, and for aspiring pizza makers, there is also a wood-burning oven. Next to the entrance of the house, there is a wrought iron veranda under which a round table is placed, it is ideal for 12 people and perfect for large outdoor lunches and dinners together with your friends or family. In the garden, there is also a tennis table.
The interior of the house offers two fully equipped kitchens, six bedrooms and four bathrooms (towels and bed linen are included in the price). The house is decorated with care and with fine furniture, it offers free Wi-Fi and televisions include satellite channels and DVD player. Villa Caterina is a great starting point to visit the whole Tuscany, as it is only a 1-hour drive from Florence.
The Casentino is also a beautiful valley where the Arno river is born and where you can visit medieval castles such as the castle of Poppi, the castle of Romena and the castle of Porciano. The villa is located in the heart of the Casentino forests cataloged among the most beautiful forests of Italy, a UNESCO heritage site. The villa is located 5 km from the Arno springs where you will find a river park and an adventure park for adults and children.In addition, part of the Arno cycle route that has to reach Pisa starting from the town of Stia has been completed. This year an 18 km stretch has been completed that extends along the Arno river through the beautiful nature of the Casentino valley.
