I would like to make a note of Ricky, whom after I had an awful experience at your airport, calmed me down and took me to the store for some beer. Your hotel is very convenient for a pass thru onto islands. Would definitly recommend. I don't know if you can do anything with the cab driver problem.
My first stop in Indonesia was Jakarta. I am a single female traveler, and must always be aware of my situations. There, I was swarmed by at least 50 taxi drivers. I said no so many times and they kept coming. I wanted the shuttle bus and a taxi driver said it would be an hour wait, while the bus was 20 feet away, another whole i was boarding the shuttle asked if i wanted a taxi. I asked him if he was stupid? This being my first encounter with your counrty, i thought this place is awful. It was but true at all. Your people are kind and wonderful. Until..I arrived at Lombok airport where the situation with the taxi drivers was the same. They were so upsetting to me. These people are the first encounter visitors have with your country and it is the worst impression. Please Swiss Lombok pass this message on to someone to fix this problem. The staff at your hotel are exceptional and kind, as was evety single other person. I hope you will take my advise.
