Overall fantastic.
Really lovely hotel. Very clean and well presented. Personally my husband and I didn't like the pillows, they were too hard, even with flipping over, we ended up not using them at all. No reflection on the hotel but it was also very noisy till about 12.30 am, someone was in and out in the neighbouring room and kept letting the door slam shut.

Pretty good overall but a couple of niggles. Room heating was sporadic and mostly cold. We couldnt turn it up because it was noisy and kept us awake. Also disappointing not to offer any mushrooms or fried eggs at breakfast. As a vegetarian I was a bit short of choices.

Stayed for an event at the velodrome up the road which is walkable i think the hotel was either event attendees and a welsh school party all of which were well behaved Nice breakfast this morning too
