Great little place
We very much enjoyed our stay here at Mike’s little condo. It was very clean and equipped with everything you would need considering the space. The AC unit was a lifesaver for sure and a huge reason in why we chose this rental. However the other major deciding factor was the listing states there is a washer and dryer to which there is not a set either in the unit or on the premises. I came more prepared because I’m a woman and tend to over pack but my husband brought very little with him considering he was planning on washing what little clothing he did have. Mike was great when we brought the matter to his attention and did his very best to accommodate us. I’m only bringing it up to inform anyone else who is booking this listing specifically for the washer and dryer. Other than the washer/dryer issue the space was perfect for our needs. We were there for eight nights and never felt we had outgrown the studio condo and again the AC was amazing! Overall great place and a perfect location in the stunningly beautiful North Shore of Kauai! One tip I can share is to buy any groceries you might need from the Big Save Market in Hanalei vs. the Food Land in Princeville. You will definitely save big!

Our contact, Mike, was very prompt with responding. The room was very clean and a good base camp since we were out exploring the island most of the day. The pool area was also nice. Close to Foodland grocery store, and we found a cluster of food trucks with the the Wyndham vacation rentals, which was close enough to walk to. Only thing that would make this a smidge better, is to have some laundry facilities on site.

Wonderful stay!
My stay at Sandpiper 215B exceeded my expectations! Mike was a wonderful host and very helpful with clear, prompt, and accurate communication. The property had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. The linens, towels, and beach equipment was all like brand new and the place was spotless! I have stayed at many different sized properties in the Princeville area with a wide range of amenities and this was hands down my favorite! Clean, cool, safe, easy access and everything was in perfect working condition which says a lot for a rental property ! It seemed as if I was staying in somebody’s personal property since it was so well taken care of. The only reason I wouldn’t want to spread the word of excellence and recommend it is because I wouldn’t want it to already be booked when I want to come back!

Perfect location
This is the perfect location for enjoying the north shore. Was nice to have a pool and jacuzzi to enjoy at the end of the night as well! Mike is very responsive and accommodating- would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and Spotless Gem in a Perfect Location
It was perfect! The rental was small but incredibly comfortable and cozy. Every inch was thoughtfully designed, and it was spotless. Even though it was tiny, it had everything we needed to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

Great place but not if you want to cook anything.
The manager was great and helped us with any little problems we had. Just special note it’s not super quick with a lot of little things that you think you might need. There are some nice things that have been left by previous people. It is definitely not set up for you to cook in anyway. Only a microwave to warm things. If you think you’re going to be able to cook there, you definitely cannot. Refrigerator is small sized. This is for anyone with a family or a small budget and not wanting to eat out all the time.

Favourite lodging on Kauai
This place is perfect for a short stay. It's small, but the lanai makes it larger and becomes the living/dining room. Pool is great, communication with owner easy. Note that there is no kitchen, but there is a small toaster, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, so it's perfect for preparing breakfasts and lunches and warming up takeout. Comfortable bed, and I love the key-less entry.

Royal time in Princeville

Perfect home base between adventures
Has everything covered for a cost effective stay. The studio offered more space than an average hotel room and had a little sink/microwave/mini fridge/coffee maker area. Beach gear included towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, ice packs in freezer. Hot tub/pool was perfect after a day of hiking/surfing. Zero bugs seen (this is a big deal for island rentals!). WiFi was reliable for moments of remote working. Spacious lanai for meals and chill time. Safe parking. Mike is a fantastic communicator and helped us out with some suggestions for local companies to rent boards and to go whale watching. Only note is that the walls in the development are paper thin- I could hear full conversations. It’s quiet at night in the neighborhood and everyone seems to be respectful so it didn’t interfere with sleep. We’re from the islands so we’re used close neighbors, but if you are looking for silence it may not be the spot for you. I say just bring earplugs! (You need them for Hawaii roosters anyway). Kudos to Mike for reaching out to a neighbor who was doing demolition renovation in the morning- they started later the following days and are apparently done now, so no worries. As I said: Perfect place to hang between adventures!

PROS: -great communication with host - Mike -overall condition of property really good CONS: -this is a very small unit. Its a stretch to call this meal prep area a kitchenette. -this unit is in a complex with high density housing. You will be intimate with the sounds and smells of your neighbors whether you want to or not -no views and any water/beach access is at least a 1/2 hour hike and some of that hike is difficult -I'd suggest this unit is for a single or a couple for a night or two
