I stayed here with my husband to celebrate my 60th. The apartment is lovely, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner, Tony, was excellent. Gorgeous pool (although the sunbeds could do with an upgrade..) , very well maintained. Lovely view from the balcony, and fantastic walks in either direction.... Turn left for an easy stroll to Fig Tree Bay (a must is the Siko seaside restaurant, gorgeous food) and stop and swim with the turtles in the bay opposite the apartment (first set of steps, on the way to Fig Tree)... this was the highlight of the trip for me! Turn right for a stroll around the peninsula to a lovely bar overlooking the sea. Definitely hire a car, as there are so many beautiful beaches to visit. My favourite was Ayia Thekla, small, quiet, luxurious sun beds, no water sports, but a good snack bar. A Greek church overlooks this bay. Also, Konnos is gorgeous, with a gorgeous bar /restaurant, but get there early.
The only thing I didn't like about the whole holiday were the coaches and taxis that kept driving down to the big hotel that was next to the apartment. They arrived at all hours, and I did find they disturbed my sleep a little. However, this does not stop me from recommending this apartment, just maybe take ear plugs? And, I am a light sleeper!!
The lady who looks after the apartment, Bonnie, is lovely, the mid stay clean and fresh sheets and towels was a nice touch. All in all, we really enjoyed our holiday.
