Property was funkier than the price and pictures would indicate, but (king suite) room was very spacious, and balcony overlooking the harbor was great. Basic continental breakfast was okay. People watching from front porch rockers great. Unless you’re looking to party, avoid weekends, very loud.

Anchor Inn is "on the water", but there is not really a beach--more like mud flats. The door to our room waa sticky and we weren't sure it was locked most of the time. The door to the fire escape on our floor did not close, so anyone could access the property at any time.

Such a beautiful view of Commercial Street with all its hustle and bustle. Loved the rocking chairs on the front porch and the view of the Ptown Monument from the room. Climate control was so great I didn’t want to leave the room. Style of the room was so beautiful I wanted to just move in and stay. Will book a stay over the winter just to be able to use the fireplace in the room.
