Cutest “mansion” ever. It is a throw back to the 1800s, and the Secret Garden room (my room) transported me to that period. Not everything is perfect but totally doable. The cuteness factor of the Hines Mansion is off the chart. It has an under the stairway Harry Potter room (don’t think it’s a real room, however), and there’s a gargoyle on top of the building, guarding it.

We love going to bed and breakfasts, but when we found out this one had turned into a no breakfast no service place it became the worst one we have been to. The room was very cold and it was August. We had to go purchase a blanket for the second night. The blanket on the bed is a very thin quilt. The continental breakfast they did have was worse than a hotel breakfast. I do not recommend as they are trying to run it like an airbnb, bit without having the entire place to yourself.

Extremely charming, historic building. Climate control in our Secret Garden Room could use some work, as it was chilly during the day but at night got very stuffy, which was unexpected in the hot weather.

Gorgeous piece of Provo history! My husband felt the room was too dark (Winter Dreams room) but I was so in love with the architecture and jacuzzi that I didn’t care. The room has guestbooks reaching back to 1996 which were fun to read. You’re only a block from restaurants and shopping, plus the neighborhood is walkable and safe, with cute homes to see. The check in window is tight (4-5) but we got a little tour and fresh baked cookies, which was cool! They had fruit, granola bars, and Keurig pods for breakfast. You are sharing space with others for any kitchen needs, which was fine, but I would like an ice machine, or maybe a bunch of regular trays to keep in the freezer. Overall, really cool place to stay, and I’d totally return to try other rooms too.

Room was super cozy. Bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. They had fresh baked cookies available at all times. And the bath tub was amazing.

Loved Hines Mansion! The staff was so nice and brought out FRESH baked cookies when we arrived! The room was awesome like we stepped back in time! the grounds were beautiful and loved the gargoyle (took my pic with him) Will stay again next year!

This is a quaint old home in central Provo. It is clean and well maintained. It is close to several features in the area. We stayed there 2 years ago and we were served with a wonderful full breakfast. When we arrived this time we were surprised to only receive a continental breakfast. That fact had not been stated on Expedia where we booked our stay.

Fun Place!
It was a cozy little bed and breakfast! We loved it, it was local, and a nice tub, and is right in downtown Provo, so it was close to lots of fun stuff.
