Stayed 2 nights, had to call credit card and have it shut off as the hotel kept charging on it. Even after card was shut off, they still tried to charge 2 more additional times. Front desk nor IT could explain why they kept charging. Eventually, after a week, the extra charges were returned. Tried calling a lady that answered the phone, who claimed to be a manager, wouldn’t give her name and was very rude. There was signs all over like you was in 1st grade… example, don’t feel your cooler from ice machine, don’t take breakfast food from the breakfast area. Breakfast was hardly anything. Train is terrible, when asked how bad it was at check in, lady at desk played dumb and said she wasn’t sure, but next sentence was there’s earplugs in your room. Asked for an extra pillow, was told they had none. Do not recommend this hotel at all.

I had reserved a room with a King size bed. I had called ahead and notified that I would be late checking in, and when I arrived, I was told they had overbooked and was Given a room with a double bed on the third floor. The man at the desk took 20 minutes to check me in and seem very disorganized.

Overall in need of repairs, many items patched together. Could not get shades to fully close, which is most uncomfortable on 1st floor. Beds not only were old and falling apart but when you request 2 queen beds and get full size instead is unacceptable. Ammenities in room or lack there of were horrible, no cup, no coffee pot, ect.

We stayed here for the state fair, it was very convenient and clean. The staff is phenomenal, Monica the front desk clerk was the sweetest most welcoming lady! Our breakfast was good, simple continental but fresh and delicious. I didn’t catch the name of the attendant who prepared the waffles, but she was very friendly and worked her butt off preparing the waffles and keeping the area clean. I recommend this hotel for a quick trip.
