Road noise needs to be listed in the description. I would not have booked this room. Breakfast was very poor. Area was being cleaned out before serving times were over. Instead of individual butter servings being offered they had an almost empty tub of margarine.

Pretty basic property in a pretty basic location, but it was where we needed to be for the night so that was fine. Staff was excellen; friendly and helpful. Fridge in first room we were given didn't work, but they immediately moved us to another room when we asked about it. Great place to start the scenic drive on CO 165 from.

We were greeted by friendly helpful staff. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the area quiet. Though the property is older, it is maintained well and is clean and the amenities are as good as any newer lodging. The outdoor pool was a plus. While a breakfast bar was offered the choices were lean. The nearby gas station/convenience store along with the surrounding beauty of the mountain and lake recreation areas make it a positive to return here when visiting local family.
