Pretty much everything is on site, don't have to leave, but plenty of fun things to do in PV. No nearby shops or restaurants. People that work there are wonderfully pleasant and helpful. Long open beach to walk along.

Stayed for 7 night with 3 other families. Rooms had mold, smelled nasty, bedding was wet, no towels until you ask few times. We made a complain to be transferred to another room and we’re transferred after 2 days - same condition - front door was very loose, bathroom door was not opening from inside, shower had a mold. We all had allergy and nausea due to mold exposure, the little one threw up for two nights. Outside of the building was beautiful but limited pool/beach chairs, dirty buffet plates, limited food for kids. This hotel has no customer service. Contacted to Expedia today and file complains, the girl over the phone informed we will receive $457 one key cash compensation, I just checked my email and saw they transferred $180 one key cash. I thought at least Expedia could take care of the situation but very disappointed. Overall we spend a good time only because of the people we traveled with. Otherwise works booking experience we have ever made.

My experience overall was great. The food, in my opinion, was amazing. The mexican food that was available at the buffet was overall satisfying. While I personally would have preferred more mexican cuisine. I understand the various cuisine options. The reason why I did not give this place a 5 star was due to the lack of transportation from and to the airport. Also, upon arrival, we didn't have change or smaller bills. Therefore, we tipped the baggage porter what we could at that moment. Only to hear him cussing up a storm outside. Very unprofessional. While I was tempted to address this, I figured it was best to enjoy our stay and not let someone that petty ruined our stay. Shout out to Javier, who got promoted from the buffet to the Mexican restaurant. Congratulations, my friend. Also, thank you to the ladies who helped during our arrival.

Horrible service. Food is not that great. We were given one price initially and when we got there they were charging us extra fees. Staff could be very snobby. There was not that many activities for kids. Everything was mainly for adults. It should be a family resort as they charge for kids the same price as adults. I would not recommend it. We stayed there for a week, were not satisfied.

Overall not a bad stay. The pools and bars are nice. There is a convention hall on site so it’s quite busy with guests for different events and can easily get crowded The mini bar in our room didn’t get cold, and didn’t get fixed. It was also only stocked every two days, which wasn’t great when needing bottled water. Food was decent, however the Buffet was basically the same each day. Service was on and off. Some days we were taken care of, other days, we didn’t even get spoken to by a server. Property is nice looking, and overall well kept.

For our 1st trip to Mexico the Krystal Grand Neuvo did not disappoint. All the staff were so wonderful and accommodating. We loved the variety of restaurants. When we asked for a room upgrade there was no hesitation. The beach was beautifully well kept. We loved absolutely our experience and plan to bring our kids for our next trip!

It was great for the price! Lots of value. Food was decent, staff was good, room was clean. The overall design of the property was visually appealing but very inconvenient at ground level. When the resort is full, the walkways were not design for multiple people to walk side by side. Everyone moved around like ants in a line. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: 1. Excellent customer service of hotel staff. Concierge was very attentive to our concerns and went above and beyond to improve/elevate our stay. Friendly staff who can generally understand English. 2. Nice family pool and infinity pool, clean grounds. 3. Mostly good food in restaurants. 4. There is a bike rental shop, convenience shop (under renos during our stay) and pharmacy (for toiletries and common meds) right in front of the property. Cons: 1. Wifi reception is spotty in most common areas other than the special guest lounge. Our first room (Standard) had virtually no wifi - a problem since I needed to be reachable by work. Concierge installed a wifi router/booster in our room after I explained my need. 2. Safety deposit boxes had battery issues. Action was quick but did not resolve issue in our first room. Upon follow up 2 days after, they immediately upgraded us for free to a Junior Suite Pool View room. The second safe also had battery issues but was fixed the following day. 3. Facilities need some cosmetic renovations (fresh coat of paint) but nothing of serious concern. 4. Hard to find a quiet spot to lounge. Both pools have music blaring. Adult pool always had thumping music that only a few guests seemed to enjoy. Whoever controlled the music does not read the crowd. 5. Horseback riding is available on the beach, independent of the hotel. But, horses will poop where they need to. 6. Buffet wait staff got slammed during the busy weekend.
