The hotel is nice, but it could do with some thoughtful improvements. 1. There are no floor lights in the pathway to the rooms, so at night it is hard to see and potentially dangerous. 2. They should inform clients ahead of time, and maybe put it in the advert that the front desk closes at 10 pm, and maybe offer support for extrenuating circumstances. Our flight was delayed considerably and we could heave easily arrived to a closed hotel. To their credit they did try to WhatsApp me, but the app was not working so when they didn't reach me, they made no other efforts to inform me that they would be closing. 3. there was an issue with payment from Expedia, all I can say is solve it yourself. The staff said "we want to help you" and then proceeded to blame me for the error, they were rude, and demeaning in their approach. 4. Its a pitty that they have chosen a decor that is so bland. A little mexican colour could really do wonders. 5. Be sure to be close to your room mate, you will have 0 privacy. The "door" to the toilet is a curtain and there is no roof so ... San pancho is what it is, so the trash on the road, and general disarray they cannot be blamed for, but note that its very noisy, next to the school and considerable town noice. 6. be prepared for a damp room and damp sheets. Despite all of the above, they are competitve and aside from the very limited restaurant menu (better eat in town), and the rudness of management if you encounter any challenge, its ok.
