Was not told by the hotel or Expedia that two out of the 7 restaurants were closed for renovation and a further two restaurants were only open to members (time share holders). So this limited us to the Buffett restaurant (lovely food) and the remaining two restaurants we had to queue from 7am in order to make a reservation. The 3 we were able to use in total were fantastic. Renovation work on the property did come with some noise up until 9pm and on 1 day due to cutting concrete it came with a lot of dust.

Everything in this resort was wonderful. Selection of food and restaurants was a bonus. Toiletries were lacking. The lack of shampoo/conditioner or soap was a bit disappointing. Overall it is a 4**** and was disappointed. Great place for families with children. Lots of activities for children.

This was our second time at this hotel. We got a suite this time and it was incredible! The room was perfect for our family. The hotel itself was beautiful as always. There are some renovations happening so our restaurants were a little limited but I'm sure things will be great when the renovations are complete. The entire staff are super friendly and helpful. The gym was amazing, it had everything you could want. We did our laundry here before leaving & the machines worked very well. Will definitely return for another visit!

Marival emotions was a perfect get away for our family! Very family friendly resort with a lot of options. Activities and options for most. Food was average, but great for what I’d expect when they’re feeding hundreds of people at once. Staff are very friendly. Resort is beautiful. Ocean front room is definitely worth it, except when you see a wedding being set up as it goes very loudly to 11pm, but we appreciated the sharp 11pm quiet. Kids pool area was amazing and the quieter pool options were great too. Kids buffet is a very nice touch (dinner only) and kids activities/shows (although 8:30pm was very late for us). Special restaurants had great food, service and options. Beach club was worth every extra penny to have amazing service, views and a different food options. Negatives were there was mega construction going on at the time with almost constant work often starting early and going late into the night (jack hammering and very loud working). With construction there was only one special restaurant operating and rotating types nightly.there also seemed to be a lot of day passes at the pool which made for weird experiences as these people often were careless about the rules or overall well-being of others/ the resort as they were just in and out. Overall, would stay here again and recommend to families.

The majority of the restaurants were closed. And the one next to the beach (snacks) that was open last year, this time was exclusively for members only. Or they were asking you to pay a pass of $3,000 pesos ($150 dollars) per person to use these exclusive facilities. Also, the kid’s pool was closed due to renovation and for this reason parents were bringing their kids to the jacuzzi, creating a chaos and security didn’t enforce the “only for adults” or over 18 years policy. So, we had a bad experience every time we wanted to relax on the jacuzzi. I was highly disappointed. And to make matters worse, the check out desk moved to another building without informing the guests causing long lines, and a lot of confusion. The worst vacation ever since I started visiting this hotel 5 years ago.

Honestly, everything was great no complaints. There were a few little things like certain conditions of the buildings and room but it's literally right by the ocean. Things are going to have a little rust or erode. I saw a few times they had people cleaning up the stairs rails which was cool. The employees seems hard working and sort of understaffed which is unfortunate. Shout out to the bar tenders at the pizza area (I'm terrible with names) they were always nice. Their night is cool but sucks it's only on the weekends. Something that did suck is their introduction of the club is way too long. Totally personal preference and understandable, they do have a lot of American/ Caucasian folks but if they played more Mexican/Latin music that would have been cool. Didn't try any of the restaurants you had to reserve. Food overall was good. I usually found something that I liked. Breakfast was meh for me. Overall, I would come back here

We come to this resort almost every year. Its great for families with children. Kids pool was the highlight. Food is really good. Its clean and staff are very nice, not everyone speaks english. Only small things to be aware of. Lots of mosquitoes in the club lounge and no elevator for rooms located on the club area.

Stairs everywhere. Not toddler friendly. Super packed. Food was nasty. We planed a family/friends trip and when our family got there they didn’t have a room for them. They moved them to a different hotel. They booked a 2 bedroom suite and got moved to a different hotel that only offered them 2 separate room. They have 3 kids. The parents had to sleep separate. We didn’t get to hang out as much with our family because of the hole situation. Horrible!!

Our stay started by being greeted by a super great bellman Tino, however it all went down hill after that. We were given the wrong room after waiting 6 hours after check in. Once speaking to a front desk manager who could care less if you stayed or not we finally had to go to concierge manager and we’re finally placed in a room. We were planning on a big family trip and had several other rooms coming. Reservations to there specialty restaurants were ridiculous to get and reservation lady who did them was rude. The buffet was less than desirable. If you go to this hotel, expect to eat at the buffet every day because restaurant reservations is not going to happen unless you get up at 8am to make one with the lady that does them and even then you might not get lucky. Though there were several staff who did go above and beyond the front desk check in was not doing anything to make you feel welcomed or relaxed! The room was cleanish but definitely needed updated and the bed was not comfy The only people who made this vacation feel like vacation and cared about the guest were concierge Christina, Enrique, Octavio, Angelica and Israel and a dining staff Dashelle and all the staff in the Italian restaurant.
