This all inclusive hotel is much more better than many 5 star hotels I stayed in around the world including Europe and North America. The staff in all parts of the hotel are amazingly helpful, friendly and professional. The location is very good in a modern, quiet,safe area with access to all parts of the city by public transportation . I used uber many times easily. The food had many varieties and every day was different. The entertainment programs are good . The restaurants are excellent. I appreciate Edgar Alberto who made a wonderful memorable romantic dinner for us at Mole &Tacos restaurant. Mélia Hotel will be my choice for my next trip.

Melía Puerto vallarta was an incredible experience for my family. After a little mishap on our first night and the fact that the property looks a little tired; it was all amazing. Food, entertainment and amenities worth the stay, but in the words of Thomas Keller "in the end, all hotels are the same—a room and a bed; service is what makes the difference.” and it did Alberto as a guest service agent and entertainment had all the answers and lots of talent and Silvia always attentive for all guest services. Victor, Ignacio and Nabor at the pool bar. Antonio at the main restaurant. To say a few names made the difference. Everyone from maintenance, security, housekeeping, front desk and cooks, every member was always friendly and helpful. They are the reason I'd visit the hotel again!

We love our stay at Melia Hotel. We overall love the staff- they are very friendly, accomodating to our needs, and made us feel welcomed! The buffet is excellent, a lot of choices pretty much for the entire family. There are foods and available drinks everywhere at any time. The place is very relaxing, anything you need for a holiday is there. The room overall is clean, but some amenities are a bit old and needs repairs, but it didn’t really compromise our stay.

The hotel interior and rooms are beautiful and super clean. The restaurants are very nice and the food is great. Customer service is great, very helpful all the time and with a smile always on their face. The buffet restaurant is always busy with long wait lines. The pool and the surrounding area needs remodeling, it is too old. Maybe a good scrubbing and hosing the patio area around the pool would be great! I saw someone throw up and it just got cleaned with a dust pan… More fan ceilings in the papala/show/outside area would be great too.

I loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this resort. First, the zero hassle for checking in. Second, the room upgrade and VIP treatment. The “ALL INCLUSIVE” is just that all inclusive. Comfortable beds. Fresh clean room daily and changed linens and toiletries replenished daily. Guest services were amazingly attentive to our needs if we needed anything. The view from our room was breathtaking. The food was delicious and very well proportioned. The pools (specifically the swim up bar) were lovely as well and was the highlight of my trip. Omg and to be able to scratch another bucket list item off of my list rode on the “Jet ski”. I didn’t want to leave but I will definitely be back in January…
