old buildings with mexican architecture. Buffet food got a little boring but we also went out for some meals. Staff was awesome. Sure we tipped which was much appreciated. Location, location, location. Right in the middle of the Romantic Zone

A quick walk to the corner market, where you can buy water and beer. Down Basilio Badillo you got Freddy’s Tuscan for breakfast, panchos tacos for late lunch by, Starbucks. This hotel has everything close by.

Property is overcrowded. A lot of small children screaming and playing.. which is what they should do.. but nowhere to just relax. Noisy all the time.. only one restaurant with the all inclusive package.. food was ok.. not a lot of options. Service at restaurant terrible. I always had to flag someone down for a beverage. Sometimes the servers just standing around in a huddle talking and joking, while I waited for someone to assist.. I had 2 alcoholic beverages the entire time I was at the hotel. Bar by the pool always busy and always had to wait. Alcoholic drinks were not very good. ate outside the resort most of the time. Better service. I paid all inclusive.. not worth it.. Front desk staff not friendly at all..the place is older but clean. Never had hot water and the water pressure was really low. Always a line at the front desk when I wanted to report an issue..Elevator went up to I think the 3rd floor?(2nd? Can’t remember ) Then I had to climb a couple of set of stairs to get to our room.. rooms need some work.. great view from our little balcony.. Would not stay here again..

Kids pool was nice, food was decent and the restaurants in the area were good. Walkable to el malecon. Power went out our last day, scorching hot inside our room, couldn’t sleep comfortably or even take a shower to be comfortable on our flight. Rooms were not very nice

Playa Los Arcos is our favorite place to stay in Puerto Vallarta!! It is in a great location and a great price. We stayed in remodeled rooms and they were great!! The food has improved since the last time. The beach has eroded a lot, so its really rocky. Some of the property does need some improvements.

Great family resort. Only complaint was not enough tables in shade areas & ppl would claim them & then not sit at them for hours. Plus only having 2 pool staff who were run off their feet so waiting for food & drinks too a long time. Otherwise great location & fun activities for kids.

Rooms are outdated, the smell of mold and humidity is horrible! Towels are old and stained. No body wash towels, no lotion, no body wash, the soap and shampoo are not good quality. The pool,restaurant and bar are ok. Access to the beach is great. The customer service is ok, definitely didn’t feel appreciated at check-out and will not be returning.
