We really enjoyed our stay here, we were greeted at the door by a friendly host who welcomed us in and gave us a refreshing tea and guacamole- a nice touch. The room was very clean with beautiful decor. The room overlooked the river but it is completely dry right now in June of 2024. This is apparently low season but it didn’t feel that way because, though we were here through the week, the night life was exciting and there were many people. The only thing that made our trip uncomfortable was the sound of the neighborhood dogs every morning around 7:30-8 am, without fail. This of course is not the hotels fault. The hotel is located at the end of a road without much traffic noise or crowd noise, which was nice. We brought earplugs and turned on the noise machine and still were woken up by the dogs. This is just something to be aware of before staying here. We chose the included breakfast which was a nice spread of a continental breakfast (toast, local fruit, jam, butter, coffee, fresh juice) and you can choose an item from the menu which is a full breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach (seven blocks) local shopping and all the OXXOs and Farmacias you could ever want for your convenient store or pharmacy needs. I recommend this hotel to adults (I think it’s adults only) and definitely couples. I would not bring a child here because there are scary winding staircases and three to four pools they could fall into.
