Wonderful Stay!
We LOVED this hotel! So perfectly set in it's surroundings! Right on the beach...so quiet and serene. The food was delicious and the staff was great! We had a wonderful couples massage with Macaws singing overhead. The room was beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I just wish there was a door to the bathroom.

The hotel is spectacular. I love the area and know it well, and this hotel is top-notch. The food is delicious, the staff is extremely helpful, pleasant, and friendly. The building is in impeccable condition, and the beach is delightful. I'm sure we will return!

Our stay at Ava exceeded all expectations. The staff was so friendly, and the food was delicious at breakfast. The view at the beach bar was spectacular. The room had natural handmade products and had a great view. One of our best stays ever!!

We had an amazing stay at Awa. Keep in mind it's in a jungle setting and right on the beach, so the ocean roar is constant as is the sounds of the jungle. The room was amazing with an outdoor shower, and a very private deck to hang out in. The service was exceptional, Dinnier, Ricardo and the rest of the staff took amazing care of us, going above and beyond on a regular basis.

This beachfront property is nestled in the jungle with regular wild animal sightings like monkeys and sloths! The staff anticipated our every need and the room decor and layout was superior! This was a magical trip

The whole experience at the aWa Hotel was amazing. The only point I would make, regarding the facility, would be the Parking at the Hotel. Management had explained that they were working on trying to improve that access and ease for the customer to park their vehicles.

We can’t wait to go back!
This was our most favorite place to stay on our trip. Every little detail was thought of. The decor is gorgeous. The staff… love them all… the food delicious and top notch! The beds a dream, the ambiance delightful… just so cool! We saw sloths and monkeys right outside of our room. We wished we would have stayed longer. We can’t wait to go back! We felt the quality of this place is similar to what we have received at One & Only resorts but at a fraction of the price.

This place is magical. It truly is! Beautiful, quiet, best beach i’ve seen in CR. The people there are just so welcoming. The parking is the only not great part, but don’t let that stop you!! There always seems to be someone there to help you park. Wish i could give aWa 6 stars!

I absolutely loved my stay here. The staff was always cordial, helpful, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our experience better. The only thing that takes away from a perfect score is the food. The portions were small, and the food wasn’t great. They only include breakfast with your stay, and we tried different options each day. Yet even the food we purchased for lunch was subpar, and as mentioned, small in portion. We had to go into town for the majority of our meals (Tamara Restaurant is one of the best. The portions were great, and their food is *chef’s kiss*). Otherwise the entire resort is a dream!
