San Juan de los Terreros.
San Juan de los Terreros is a town of about 2000 inhabitants in the province of Almería, the easternmost province of Andalusia.
In recent years, its magnificent beaches with warm, crystal-clear waters are experiencing a tourist and real estate boom. Unlike other places on the coast saturated with apartment blocks and shopping centers next to the beaches, in S.J. de los Terreros low-rise homes are built, with green areas and parking near the beaches.
The town is located in a charming bay with calm waters, with 10 km of coastline and numerous small beaches (coves) in which to swim or dive.
In recent years it has become a popular holiday destination for European and Spanish families. It is ideal for families and tourists looking for a quieter and more relaxing place to have a glass of wine, eat delicious fresh fish, take a walk along the beach and promenade or go on hiking trails in the surrounding area.
This area has a microclimate with low humidity levels throughout the year, which makes this place recommended for people with lung problems.
Activities: Hiking, bike rental, beach sports, diving center, paddle surfing, …
The most important attraction to visit in S.J. de los Terreros is the spectacular Gran Geoda. https://www.geodapulpi.es/Servicios/cmsdipro/index.nsf/informacion.xsp?p=Geoda&documentId=8E39839582DA476AC1258424003061B6
