This property was dirty, unsafe, the piping were rusty, the bathroom floor was moldy, doors easily popped open. Our belongings were removed out of our room. The odor in the room made it hard to breath. Had to leave a find a new place to stay. Pictures aren’t what you really get. Worst experience of my life

Most disgusting place I have ever been. The toilet’s flush does not work, AC doesn’t work either. Refrigerator looks simply disgusting. No one came to clean in 3 days. Neighborhood is flooded with dirty water- plus it is noisy and disgusting. The sink and shower water smells like poop. I hated my stay here. FYI, there is no laundry in the facility. They wouldn’t even provide you a bed throw or a hair dryer even upon request. Also, Aventura Studios is the company name- they did not give me the hotel pictured. They took us to a different hotel named Sol Caribe.

The property is old small and not near the beach upon walking in I saw a cockroach I immediately checked oh and I’m happy I did. I’m currently fighting for a refund because the number the provide Expedia is unable to reach them do not stay here it’s in a horrible area

The name is NOT AVENTURA studios, it is Sol Caribe Tropicana. Our first room was with pool view. It was so small and crowded with stuff, that we hardly can open the door and move around. It was so old and outdated, we were about to swallow the lost of our prepayment for 9 days and move to another hotel. Then we were moved to DUCASSI suits across the street. The studio was much better, newly built, but already all metal fixtures, door handles ext. were rusted. The area around is overbuilt with rental properties. The street has holes that look like there was a bombing. The walk to the beach is on a street full of garbage and unpleasant smell. The beach is not well cleaned. It is a place for selling drugs and prostitution. The restaurants and even supermarket prices of food are very high. It is much more pleasant and even chipper to stay in all- inclusive resort.

This place was terrible, i didn’t even stay there once I got to the room it smelled horrible. The are where is located makes me feel unsafe so I decide to leave and they refuse to give me any kind a refund. If you’re planing for a getaway just choose something else because this is nothing like a vacation place.

This is a scam. First of all this is not a resort. It’s just a motel or a kind of an apartment with a pool. Don’t believe the pics they post. It doesn’t have any beach views and we need to walk 10 mnts to reach the beach. Also, the property name is Tropicana. We had a difficult time in finding the property. I have seen a lot of disappointed faces in this property.

The property pictures online are very deceiving. I feel that the property could use some upgrading for sure. When we arrived i bought some cleaners to address some of the issues. The couch for example was very dirty. The refrigerator was stained and also the mattress. There was a very large gap under the door, we would put pillows there at night to keep bugs out. The toilet didnt flush well so we would fill a pot of water to help it flush. The area however is perfect! Close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. If you are looking for an high end property this is not the place for you. If you dont mind a few issues with the room it is fine. We made it our own and felt comfortable enough to stay. Vacation is what you make it! We would return to this property. Hopefully they will make some improvements in the future. Also, the staff was very polite and helpful.
