Mirage Review cons/pro Cons ~Check in too long -45 minutes ~ ~cleaning person asked us on our first morning if money that we had laying around was for her, i told them no. The gaul. Don’t leave valuables. Bathrooms have rusty trash cans. The sun beds are outdated, they are torned, curtains are disheveled and wood falling apart. ~staff seem to be only looking out for tips, that is really annoying. ~sports bar has roaches, please don’t eat there. You may not notice them because you’re looking at the televisions, but they are there. ~the entertainment leaves you not wanting to go return, we chose to go to a bar. First night people, including me, left after 10 minutes. The show did not attract us. The second night, ‘Rock Show’ the band was great, but the singers mostly yelled and we couldn’t make out the words, we left that also. ~Beach: rude Europeans that do not respect your space. They put their chairs adjacent to yours. They undress, yes i do mean, undress next to you. RUDE! ~Too many vendors on the beach. No peace. ~Casino is small Pros ~This hotel is huge! 6 swimming pools, 500 rooms, plenty of swim up bars, large courtyard, lots of areas to sit and rake in the beautiful surroundings. ~Ample lobby area. ~Our Room was spacious and plenty of light, maids do a good job cleaning our room. Bar area was well stocked, but you need to stay behind staff to keep it that way. ~Nice view from our room out to pool area. ~Plenty of kids activities that we can see. ~Pool areas are lar

The check-in process and butler service are very long. Need to work on it. People are tired/hot/hungry sitting and waiting for the butler for 30-40 min. Our butler on the other hand was a very organized and very effective fellow Eduardo. I had two rooms this visit due to technical problems, the first room was all run down, but the other room was much better. The grounds and the beach areas are absolutely beautiful. The adult-only beach area has no service whatsoever. Our butler noticed it and made sure we had a service there on our third day of vacation. The buffet had a good and different selection of food but service was lacking as well. They escort you to your table and forget about you until you make a noise about getting a drink. We had reservations to two restaurants: Hibachi was nothing exciting (no show even), just the cook cooking boringly in front of us. The steakhouse was delicious with great service, an excellent menu, and deliciously prepared meals. The evening entertainment was BORING. The live music singers are terrible:), they do not know how to sing (screaming the whole time). We went to Ellegance at night, they had better choices. The beach and pool areas had a sufficient amount of sunbeds and cabanas which we loved. The towel service is great too. Overall we did enjoy our stay and would come back again. The hotel management tried to work on all the deficiencies solving them, big check on that.

We loved this resort! Our breakfast table was decorated with flowers every morning, we had champagne delivered to us on our anniversary, and the food was phenomenal! But, the best part was the staff. Our butler, Omar, was there for anything we needed. And the rest of the staff treated us like family. We can't wait to go back!

The property was beautiful, the food was good. What stood out the most was the service from the amazing staff. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. Cesar went above and beyond. Eduard and Ashelin with the entertainment team were amazing with their cheerful personalities. Charly at the bar made the best drinks and went out of his way to find me cherries for the champagne. We looked forward to seeing David and Marilyn when we sat down for our meals. I will definitely return.

Everything was great, the staff was phenomenal and friendly. The restaurants were very good overall, specifically the steakhouse, Italian and French restaurants. Resort is in pristine condition, clean, updated and very well maintained. The beach is also great and the pool areas were amazing. Both pool and beach have cabanas that are easily accessible. We will definitely be back, thank you again Majestic!!!

Majestic Mirage was wonderful! The grounds are beautiful, the (adults only) pools are nice and relaxing, and the beach is lovely. Very clean and lots of great food choices. The Seaside (beach restaurant) was my favorite - delicious food and a beautiful view! And Samuel and Stephany were wonderful servers. Our "butler", Jose, was amazing! He was helpful, kind and always pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend Majestic Mirage for those wanting to relax and not worry about a thing!

The property is really nice and well taken care of. Our butler was excellent and went above and beyond for us his name was Bolivar. Overall staff was super kind and helpful. The food was ok, I liked the steak house and Japanese restaurant the best. Little disappointed with the buffet the food wasn’t as fresh, but over all great stay experience
