Property was beautiful. Beach was very nice. Water was not deep which I loved as a non swimmer. Food was excellebtent! Best food I've had at an all inclusive resort.

Property was great but staff/service was hit or miss. Pool bartender was more interested in women tourists than actually trying to get drinks. You would ask for a Miami Vice for example only to get a premade mix with no liquor in it. One hostess for dinners who showed up at multiple restaurants made it clear that she was not listening and didnt want to be there. Limited dining options on some nights for dinner with some restaurants closed or the ones that were open only allowed limited capacity. Most restaurants fully booked for week by the time we were checked in, yet when we did get into the Gourmet restaurant it said no availability yet there had to be 20 tables open. With the resort aiming to be ‘High End’, bottles should be part of the package in the room and not having to buy instead which were very expensive. Dont get me wrong, we did like the resort itself, and the food that we had was generally good, but this resort wants to show itself as a high end Adults Only experience which it was not. A few tweaks and it could get there. The Hyatt and the Excellence would be the spots to go if that is what you are seeking.

We had so much fun. The building is huge and very nice. The beach is absolutely beautiful and the staff works very hard to keep it clean. The beach is huge and very spacious. We especially appreciated the efforts of Luis at the breakfast buffet. We only wish we knew about pineapple who led the entertainment sooner, she was amazing once we found her. We also appreciate the kindness from Pamela at the Palapa restaurant. You need to plan your dinners in advance and you will need to visit the family side for entertainment. Highly recommend this resort !!

We stayed on the adult side and the property was very nice and well maintained. Pools are great, beach is beautiful. Only complaint we had was the food which is very repetitive in the buffet and by the last day we absolutely could not eat it anymore. It is damn nearly impossible to make reservations and that was the case for everyone we talked to. We were there for 5 nights and got one reservation after talking to guest service and nothing else was available even 4 days in advance. We paid to be there and shouldn’t be that hard to get food. I wouldn’t go back just because of the reservations process as there are other resorts that do walk ins FCFS basis which is much better

My wife and I stayed on the Adults only side of the resort but we had full access to the family side and amenities as well. Staff were great and friendly. They was a quiet pool and a party/activities pool and another in between. PLUS the beach. No complaints. Would come again .

This resort did not feel like a 5 start resort. Upon our arrival, we were not greeted with welcome drinks like other guests were. The guy at the front desk who assisted with our check in process did not sound professional or cordial. Our room was not properly cleaned, we found hairs in the shower, the towels and sheets had stains and the whole room just had like an old rag smell. Everyday we were constantly harassed by Xpand employees trying to sell us excursions and what sounded like a timeshare. They would wait for us outside of the buffet to chase us, we even had one guy beg us to attend a “30 min” session because if we did, he would get $50 and he really needed the money. I understand people need to make a living but this made me feel very uncomfortable. As for the food, it was the worst I ever had at an all inclusive. I don’t have big expectations when it comes to food from all inclusive hotels but this was really terrible. Everything tasted old and the employees from the live food stations looked annoyed when you would ask for food. Sadly, the whole staff at the resort lacked costumer skills.

Something , the water or food, had my partner and I feeling unwell. We had the jacuzzi on the balcony and had to request for it to get cleaned. The sheets weren’t changed, just the bed was made. We were unable to dine at a restaurant because no where had availability to make a reservation and we were there for 5days.

Disfrute mucho mi estadía en este hotel. Los chicos del equipo de entretenimiento hacen un excelente trabajo, no nos aburrimos ni un segundo. La playa muy limpia se podía estar todo el día si deseábamos. La habitación muy moderna, elegimos el swim out suite, el cual estaba muy bonito. Todos los días nos cambiaban las toallas y limpiaban la habitación. El buffet muy bueno, habían dos, con muchísimas opciones para elegir, la comida bastante aceptable para ser de resort. El único problema fue que no alcanzábamos nunca reserva para los restaurantes de la noche, ya que no estaban todos abiertos todos los días. Mención especial a Tais, la chica del front desk que nos ayudó mucho el primer día, Kenny que nos resolvió las mejores excursiones y Alex Sánchez uno de los camareros que fue súper atento con nosotros. Nunca me encontré con un empleado que no estuviera feliz de atendernos, todos fueron amables.

Our honeymoon experience at this resort was disappointing. Despite calling a week in advance to emphasize the importance of our trip and inquire about restaurant and excursion reservations, our concerns were dismissed. Upon arrival, we found all the nicer restaurants fully booked, leaving us with only the buffet (which was mediocre) and an Italian restaurant (which was good). We missed out on the steakhouse and seafood options included in our package. The staff was generally unhelpful, dismissive, and seemed disengaged. Excursion booking was frustrating as they offered high prices and tried to push a timeshare presentation for discounts. Instead, we used a highly-rated external tour company after being warned (unprofessionally) by hotel staff about safety risks with outside agencies. The room quality was underwhelming—few working outlets, no basic amenities like an iron, and limited room service options. The adult-only section lacked events, and minimal rain would shut down activities without alternatives. While we had access to the family area, we were poorly informed about its offerings, and the app was confusing. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations.
